Top notch location but with many post-COVID issues. Upon arrival there were no porters or bellmen to help with luggage. We had to carry our many bags to and from our room. That's unacceptable for a premier property. No listing of TV stations in room because front office said they weren't correct. Our room was not serviced one of the two days we were there. In the main dining room, an immature very young hostess was rude and incompetent.
On the positive side were the staff (except for the dining hostess). All were incredibly polite and extremely articulate. It was obvious that they were well trained and cared about their customers. In particular the young lady (Cynthia??) that drove us to the airport went above and beyond her responsibilities when she discovered that my wife needed an airport wheelchair. She made sure she positioned her drop-off location so that it was close to the interior wheelchair staff. Thank you to her.
I think this will return to a premier property once things stabilize in the local economy.

Last year, we found this “ hidden gem” so close to where we stayed and enjoyed cocktails on the lawn with an umbrella in case the sun was too much.
Last night, we had to venture back here, the setting is so calming and perfectly relaxed. I hate to say, but we did feel rather exclusive here, the way it’s all set up so nicely with a running brook to listen to, and setting. Settle in and Jordan will be over in a jiffy and take excellent care of your drink and dinner orders for a special occasion

It’s truly amazing!

Room tip: It’s catered more towards adults here that love nature

Hello Wander28161291533,
It was lovely welcoming you again; we're delighted your previous trip included the discovery of our oasis! As you noticed, we've loved embracing the beauty of our Pacific Northwest home - the natural tranquility is almost magical. We believe the perfect things to pair with our ambiance are five-star service and savory cuisine. We're delighted you agree. We hope it won't be long before you're again relaxing with us.

I’ve stayed here several times and was sad to say it’s gone down a bit in my opinion. They discontinued an excellent breakfast that was included with stay. Granted it’s during a “pandemic”. The nice snacks they used to have are cut way back now as well. Was nice to have the chips and other snacks and drinks free with stay. Now it’s a water dispenser and a bulk dispenser of chocolate raisins. In other words they took away a bunch of complimentary snacks and breakfast. The snack room on floor 2 is still there just doesn’t have anything decent so not sure how this relates to any covid issue. The shop next to checkout counter is a joke unless you like moon cheese or vegetable chips all nasty stuff I bought for 7$ a bag, it’s about a 4 foot wall of stuff. So your only food option is the one pricey restaurant no ability to purchase decent snacks anywhere. I found check in much less friendly than before. This was my go to place for park and fly for service and amenities but I will shop around next time. We’re told also that instead of the nice shuttle they’ll call us a Lyft haha. I appreciate the extras and service a place offers which have been discontinued here and gladly pay up a bit for that. It’s clean but nothings been updated or improved only removed some extra things I really appreciated so expect very limited options.

This is my second time staying at this beautiful property. The grounds are very pretty. It was still a little cold in April but the trees were in bloom. The conference facilities looked really nice. Our room was comfortable (we had a balcony) and nicely appointed. We ordered room service and ate dinner in the restaurant. The food was excellent. The restaurant has outdoor seating with heaters. It was comfortable and the food was definitely worth coming for.

The grounds lush with blossoming trees, an herb garden, ponds trails and duh..cedar trees the ‘living room’ concept for each room island is unique. The reataurant /bar area is warm, inviting, stylish, and tasty! Can’t go wtrong being here
