Our family enjoyed a fantastic weekend at Pedal Tulips B&B Farm with hosts Kris and Dick! We stayed in the beautiful “Nest,” a warm and inviting loft with stunning views of the surrounding Skagit Valley countryside and Mt. Baker when the clouds cleared!
Kris & Dick are welcoming and responsive, and thought of just about everything you could possibly need in the space. With a full kitchen, you can whip up meals or just keep necessities on hand. A King bed and a full futon provided plenty of sleeping space for us and our son, with extra pillows and blankets in case we needed them. Luxurious bathrobes and towels made us feel like we were at a “farm spa!” We loved the decor of the room - French countryside meets Pacific Northwest farm. Books, magazines and DVDs are on hand, but bring your laptop or portable DVD player as the place currently does not have a television/DVD player - or just relax and forget about screen time!
With La Conner only 3 miles away, Deception Pass (stunning, must go!) only 30 minutes away, and blueberry picking and farm tastings in Bow-Edison only about 30 minutes away, there is plenty to enjoy in the surrounding area. But we also enjoyed just relaxing in the beautiful loft space and exploring the farm with Kris and Dick, enjoying their fish pond and outdoor seating, their goats and chickens! And I can’t forget to mention their gooseberries - ask for a taste if you are there in gooseberry season!
We had an amazing time and highly recommend staying here for as long as you can!
