“Magical!”
Reviewed 27 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Our stay at the Johnson Farm was amazing! George was so accommodating in making the arrangements for our stay at his family farm. The home and grounds are beautiful and had everything we needed; comfortable beds, space for everyone, a fully equipped kitchen, large yard and deck and more. Our teenage daughters loved collecting eggs and feeding the cows and neighbor's goats each day. Our oldest daughter made us eggs each morning with a side of blueberries we picked at a neighboring farm! We loved finding tree frogs, zip lining, roasting marshmallows, relaxing and looking at Mt. Rainier. It was so nice to talk to the caretakers, Mike and Ellen, each day. They are so friendly and have great suggestions for area activities. Enumclaw itself is a cute town with great restaurants, lots of coffee stands and little shops. We recommend The Coffee Vault, Rainier Bar and Grill and The Mint Alehouse. Our trip on the Crystal Mountain gondola was unforgettable! This was truly a perfect vacation!

Alicia, Thank you for allowing us to host your beautiful family. We so enjoyed having you on the farm. It gives Mike and Ellen great pleasure to help people fill out their vacation plans with local places. We hope that you will recommend us to others and come back often. The eggs and coffee are always ready! Thanks again. George

“Better than we could have imagined”
Reviewed 2 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

I recently stayed with my four children and could not have loved it more. it's a peaceful setting that we did not want to leave. The house and grounds are immaculate and we found hours of entertainment to do without leaving. it's a beautiful home amongst small farms. the kids fed goats, picked chicken eggs with Mike and Ellen who live on the farm and the treehouse and zip line were a huge hit. All you could need is there and the town is a short 7 minute drive away to anything else you may want. We will be back again as often as we can. In fact, looking to book it again now before this review gets posted. ha.

Ralph, thank you and your family for choosing us. Your kind words mean so much to us. I so happy that your kids loved the new play area, tree house, pirate ship and zip lines. We had lots of fun designing a unique area for children in the woods. And "free" eggs, what better gift from nature, could their be for kids. We would love to have your family back often, just click on book now! Thanks again George

“Feels like home”
Reviewed 24 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

This is the second time that our group has stayed in this lovely home. Mike and Ellen the caretakers are very friendly and helpful. The home has plenty of space for everyone and is well maintained. The reason that we enjoy the location so much is that it just simply feels at home.

The only comment that I would suggest is that there be an easy to use stereo system or simple I-pod docking speaker for music. For the technologically challenged people like us, we never did get it figured out...but on the plus side it forced us to talk with each other ;-)

It was also very nice to finally have a rental that provides sharp kitchen knives to cook with. The little things like that make a huge difference.

Otherwise, we will certainly be back here. The home does not disappoint.

Thank you so much, it was wonderful having your group back again. We love our repeat guests and you know what I really appreciate your comments about a simple stereo system, and I can make that happen for the next visit. I make sure to get something that can be taken to the deck, since the view of Mt Rainier is so beautiful out there. Of course there is always the music channels on the cable system on the TV's in each room. Thanks so much for your kind comments. George

“Beautiful home with everything we needed”
Reviewed 2 March 2016 for a stay in February 2016

Service was second to none. They met us there, went over the stipulations, and let us have our family time. We had fresh eggs every morning. The property was located in a secluded but great area close to big cities around area with an amazing view of Mt. Rainier. Plenty of things to keep the kids occupied. Highly recommended!!!

Thanks so much for allowing us to host your large family. We loved having you there. I am glad the kids enjoyed the new tree house & pirate ship, zip lines. They seem to be the crowd favorites, other than the chickens of course, everybody loves feeding the chickens and gathering fresh eggs. Once again, thanks for allowing us to share the light of hospitality with you and please visit us again! George

“Gracious luxury home with country amenties”
Reviewed 17 February 2016 for a stay in February 2016

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This isn't your average vacation home rental, this executive country home is perfection. The home's layout with two great rooms, two bedrooms in each wing allows for quiet time even when traveling with others. The online process of renting, paying and signing the agreement was very quick and easy. George the home owner, couldn't have been more gracious and the caretakers Mike & Ellen who live at the top of the driveway went out of their way to accommodate a small favor. We traveled with our granddaughter who gleefully played on the pirate ship tree house (it's masterfully built with zip lines too boot) and beautiful wooded grounds. We collected fresh eggs and enjoyed them for breakfast. In the evening, we listened to the frogs croaking in a nearby pond. I'm a light sleeper and the country setting is blissfully quiet. Enumclaw business district is nearby and we enjoyed dining out and exploring the shops. Mother nature wasn't cooperating (February drizzle) but we were able to enjoy periods of sunshine and a spot-on view of Mt. Rainer. Five stars doesn't adequately convey what a special property this is.

Kevin & Sylvia, thank you so much for allowing us to share the light of hospitality with you. I am so glad I had the opportunity to meet you personally. The pirate ship-tree house has been a spectacular hit with our "little guests" and who doesn't like fresh eggs! Thank you for your kind and gracious words about our property and please come back again. There is always fun to be had on the farm, even when it's raining! Yours in hospitality, George
