Colonial Williamsburg is a must see! Our 3rd visit and not our last! Excellent staff, accommodations, and memorable experience!!! Historical presentations were very well done. All were of highest caliber and enjoyed their subject.

We loved staying here. It was very convenient for visiting Colonial Williamsburg. We thought that the price was reasonable. The decor was right in line with the colonial theme. We only stayed a night, so didn't get to take advantage of the amenities like the pools or 2 hour complimentary bikes. That would have been fun and it's nice that it is included with the room. The check in was a bit confusing though. You don't really know the location of the house you will be in or where to park until you check in. Knowing ahead of time would have helped with planning and prevented us from having to move the car in the middle of the day. Also, once we got there we couldn't figure out how to get in. There is a brass plate over the keyhole so you can't see where you need to put the key and there are no signs showing you that it is even the right door to use. I guess the goal is to keep the building looking authentic, but it would be nice to have instructions upon check in so that you are aware. Other than the two minor complications, everything was great and we would definitely stay again.

Stayed there 9/5-6. The house is on the Duke of Gloucester street in the middle of Colonial Williamsburg. Four bedroom/4 bath. Easy checkin and check out with parking behind the house. Rooms were clean and well furnished although there was a fireplace "smell" in all bedrooms. The location is great and convenient to everything in the historic area. Outstanding breakfast at the Williamsburg Inn. Garden in the back of the house that you would not know was there unless you stayed at the house. Note that given the location there is no wi-fi.
One issue. Before 9:00 AM on the 6th and while my wife was dressing two employees entered the house and started walking around. One said they were showing the house to another," knocked" and entered although you could see the house was occupied. When challenged they left but did not re-lock the door. Raised this with the Inn and in their survey but there was no follow up.
Just a little unnerving. Guess I should have put chairs against the doors.

The room was clean and attractive, very self contained. Very good service. Easy parking 20 yards from the room. The best thing about it was that we woke up and walked out to DOG street which was 40 yards away. Staying here, one is immersed in the Colonial Williamsburg experience. When we were tired, we walked from DOG street right into our room. When we wanted to go back to DOG street, we were right there! All the amenities of the Wmsburg Inn are available; their swimming pools and spa were wonderful, really!

My mother and I had just had the closing on our B&B the previous Friday after owning it for 13 years and this was her first vacation in 2 years. Jan gave us a wonderful upgrade and we could not have had a more memorable time. It was extremely hot but that didn’t stop us from doing anything. The only thing my mother mentioned was maybe a brighter light to read by would have been great after a long day of touring. Thanks again for everything! We will definitely be back.
