Neat to see just how far we have come. This is a nice yet small but free museum in colonial Williamsburg with an art museum downstairs (which you have to pay for.)

My grandson was drawn back repeatedly to this display. I don't know how much of it he understood, but he was interested anyway.

A very nice museum with some very interesting stories about when it was one of the first psychiatric facilities.

Very Interesting. We were intrigued by the restored first mental hospital and also impressed by the massive museum that is not readily visible from above ground. A must see.

The "hospital" is just a couple of rooms in a small wing off to the left. The real gem of this building is the museum downstairs. It's huge...spend a lot of time in there. You won't be disappointed.
