I spent 3 nights at Llasa Sunset with my two schnauzers. The cottage/trailer is located in the Virginia Beach RV Park which also contains trailers on foundations. The owners, Beverly and Jerry, own the unit next door and were helpful and friendly even before we got there with directions and advice for an awful traffic jam we encountered. They truly treat renters as friends. The cottage is an older unit but fully and thoughtfully equipped, immaculately clean, and very comfortable! There are small flat screen TV's with cable in each bedroom and the living room, and wifi is available with a guest password. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need - dishes, glasses & mugs, flatware, pots & pans, coffee maker, microwave, gas stove & toaster, fridge - plus all the little stuff like can openers & aluminum foil that you didn't bring with you.The cottage has a large covered porch with table/chairs and gas grill. It's about a 6-minute walk to the beach, and you can see Back Bay from the living room/dining area. The cottage would probably be more comfortable for 3-4 people than the max occupancy of 6. Just one caution about dogs: if you want to take them to the beach, do so before 9 AM or after 6 PM - otherwise you might get ticketed during pet-restricted daytime hours.
