A BIG thank you to Charlie and Julie, our hosts and owners of this absolutely GORGEOUS place, nestled privately amongst a beautiful garden full of fruit trees and other assorted plants, my favourite being the spectacular Bat plant that Julie has on the veranda.. and there are Chickens! We spent 4 nights here, we had a gorgeous room, that was so nice and clean with a great comphy bed with the best sheets AND Dove shower gel, my favourite, so spoilt! We can't say enough about this place and these two wonderful people.. they spoilt us and made our stay so special. The breakfasts that Charlie, the best chef ;) cooked us everyday with his home grown produce, freshly squeezed orange juice and free range eggs was DELICIOUS! Then there's his home made bread, DEVINE! And lets not forget the array of jams, especially the Chilli Jam ;) all made with their very own home grown fruit and chilli's, that Julie makes as well as her biscuits that she bakes to have with the fancy coffees on offer, Then there's the Port and the chocolates, seriously, I could just go on and on.. they have thought of EVERYTHING to make staying with them such a great experience. We had never stayed at a B & B before, now, we are spoilt. It was so great that we didn't want to leave. Love you guys and missing you already :) We are hoping to return one day.

Dear Sue
Thank you for the amazing review!
We thoroughly enjoyed your company and are especially pleased that you appreciated all aspects of your stay.
The only disappointing aspect was the wet weather, spoiling your ability to truly explore this beautiful region so hopefully next time you visit the weather will be perfect.

We look forward to welcoming you back and will have some extra chilies on hand :)
All the best for a happy and healthy 2021.

Warmest regards
Julie and Charlie

What a lovely place to stay! Private, peaceful, with beautiful rooms and a fantastic garden cottage. Everything has been considered to make you feel comfortable.
Spotlessly clean, great linen, and excellent breakfast.

Room tip: The Garden Cottage was private and comfortable.

Julie and Charlie were lovely, Very friendly. The breakfast was delicious, with 3 options to choose from. We stayed in the cottage which was neat and tidy and a little bit extra being seperate from the main lodgings. Would recommend!

Thank you for your review and recommendation.

The Garden Cottage is very popular all year round with, as you say, that extra level of privacy. Guests also really enjoy the fireplace in the cooler months. It gets very cosy!

A fantastic place to stay. Charlie and Julie are wonderful hosts, nothing is too hard for them. My travelling companion has severe food allergies, they happily accommodated her dietary requirements. Charlie is a wonderful chef, we were both provided with an appetizing gourmet delight, along with freshly squeezed orange juice. Julie is a wonderful hostess, making sure all our needs were met. I have no qualms in recommending this 'little' gem on the mountain. Ask for the Garden Cottage, it is away from the main area and a true delight. Would visit again in a 'heart' beat.

Dear NeeNeeC

Thank you for your review and your recommendation.

It is absolutely our pleasure to accommodate special dietary requirements, particularly as I am gluten and lactose intolerant myself!

Glad you enjoyed your stay in the Garden Cottage and we would love to welcome you back one day.

This is such a beautiful little spot to stay for that weekend getaway... This is our 2nd visit & it didn’t disappoint, we love to stay in the Garden Cottage which is separate from the main house...
The homemade breakfast is always delicious & meeting new people is always lovely...
Julie & Charlie are the loveliest & most genuine hosts with lots of great tips on where to visit & what to do with your time in this beautiful little place of the world...

Dear ChezC79

Thank you for coming to say again and for providing this review.

You have described one element of running a B&B that we love facilitating and that is meeting new people and having conversations around the breakfast table.

We agree - it is a beautiful little place in the world.

Look forward to seeing you again some time.

Warm regards
Julie and Charlie
