We visited Featherdale as a part of visiting Blue Mountains area. We liked it not only because we could see the animals indigenous to Australia, but also we could touch, feed and have pictures with some of them, such as kangaroo, wallaby, koala and dingo. It was unforgetable, especially for kids. You ought to come to Featherdale to have the same experience as ours.

Wherever I go, I always try to visit animal parks and learn about local wildlife and conservation episodes. I have very high expectations and Featherdale absolutely blew me away. They play a huge role in educating people and raising awareness to help conserve Australia's beautiful native wildlife. The park is incredibly hands-on, allowing you to pet and hand feed many animals. However, there are also spaces the animals can easily go if they would prefer to avoid being handled -- they come to you! Huge variety and well layed out. The area is clean, the enclosures are well kept, and the animals are plump, happy, and well socialized. Absolutely recommend to anyone old or young.

It was ok for us who visiting here from USA. We wanted to feed & touch kangaroo so this place was suggested by our friend. Place pretty small, good enough to spend about 2-3 hrs and do something else.
