“Spacious, comfortable, well equipped apartment.”
Reviewed 12 December 2016 for a stay in November 2016

This is a super apartment and would have received 5 stars if it wasn't for the problem of dog barking.
The apartment is set in a residential area on a hill with lovely views of the coast and Lanzerote.
There is a very good supermarket over the road, 2 mins away, and a decent pizza restaurant and bar next to it.
Unfortunately this residential area has a big problem with dog fouling and irresponsible owners who do not pick up.
The walk to the beach is superb, like walking across a mini-desert, where you may encounter wild goats, chipmunks and camels. Just follow the track next to the pylons.
The apartment itself is excellent with all home comforts with the addition of a small pool and very sunny patio area.
The inside lounge area is comfy and the kitchen is well equipped . The bedrooms are decent but the beds are not the comfiest.. The bathroom is excellent
We particularly enjoyed our al fresco lunches in the sun and sunbathing sessions by the pool supplemented by the incredibly cheap wine beer and sangria from the supermarket. The only downside were the barking dogs, which does spoil the tranquility somewhat.

“Sun trap apartment”
Reviewed 26 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

We stayed at this apartment for 2 weeks over the Easter period. It was clean and comfortable. The weather whilst we were there was quite windy but the apartment was completely sheltered from the wind and was a sun trap all day long. Tamara who manages the apartment was a delight to meet and was always accessible should there be a problem, luckily we had none. The proximity to the supermarket was excellent and should you not have a car this would be very important. The walking distance to the main town was approximately 30 minutes. The cost of a taxi back from the town to the apartment was 5 Euros which included the tip, Altogether a very enjoyable holiday

“Great Place to Stay”
Reviewed 8 March 2016 for a stay in February 2016

We stayed at this apartment for six weeks during January and February and were not disappointed. Things that would normally not matter to us were more important because of the length of time we were there – very comfortable settee, great TV system with all the UK channels and catchup TV, good Wifi, well equipped kitchen, your own washing machine, very large private patio area. Tamara who looks after the apartment was very friendly and helpful. Mercadona supermarket is right across the road (closed on Sundays) and there is a bar and very good pizza restaurant right outside. It is a bit of a hike into the main town, it took us 30 mins but we're not fast walkers. If you like cycling I recommend hiring bikes as Corralejo is really cycle (and pedestrian) friendly. If you are into swimming there is an Olympic size pool just 10 minutes walk from the apartment (behind Mercadona), but be warned it is unheated! It is a residential area so you do get typical residential noises such as dogs barking but we didn't find this too troublesome. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we were to return to Corralejo.

“Grubby and Extremely Noisy”
Reviewed 8 February 2016 for a stay in November 2015

Despite reviews to the contrary, this apartment is grubby with old and faded bedding. It is not conducive to a peaceful and relaxing holiday as dogs bark incessantly, especially the poor creature confined to the balcony directly overhead competing with the awful wooden wind chimes everywhere. It is well equipped, but I felt I had to wash everything first, including the bedding. The entrance lobby is reminiscent of a slum with bikes, pushchairs, bottles, and flaking paint. I suppose one's perception of 'spotless' is open for debate, so It's up to you.

Management Response
7 Mar 2016
Unfortunately we can not please everyone and people with expectations of a five star hotel are bound to have a negative opinion from the start, however we find it very very hard to believe the apartment was not cleaned to a high standard and had this problem been pointed out at the time we could have put this right! Please note this is a self catering apartment and a maid service is not included like you would get in a hotel and therefore unfortunately you do have to clean up after yourself!!
The bedding is neutral/beige coloured and whilst this may not be to everyone's taste it fits in with the plain walls and tiled flooring.
The neighbours with wind chimes obviously find the noise relaxing and again this may not be to everyone's taste but this is something that we are unable to do anything about!
