We went to the Dunes on 4 or 5 days during our holiday. It is well worthwhile spending time here rather than by the poolside. The water is clear blue and it is lovely to watch the kite surfers! We were here in March so some days were too windy to spend time sitting out but a long walk across the dunes was most enjoyable.

Great place to visit, no shade. Take sunscreen LOTS of it :) Beautiful beach , views towards Lobos island.Possible to walk from/to the town centre but it is a long walk about 1h.

We took a cab from our hotel in town to the dunes. The wind was strong and really freezing cold. Headed back into town and it was lovely and warm out of the wind. We won’t be going back to this island. We enjoy the beach but the strong winds ruin the lovely sands. Just our opinion.

You cannot come to Corralejo and not have a look it’s a marvellous place just to see and enjoy.
We spent the entire morning on the sea edge then had a walk along the lovely golden sand.
Be prepared tho take some refreshments eg water at least as didn’t find anywhere to buy them around the dunes.
I’d also advise to go early as parking can get a bit busy as the day goes on and the sun is shining.
