Owner description: World famous, are visited since 1898; inside is lake Martel, considered one of the largest underground lakes in the world, where live classical music concerts are performed every day. You can cross the lake on a boat at the end of the concert. BEWARE, there are two caves to visit in Porto Cristo, the largest and more frequently visited are the Caves of Drach. We advise to get tickets online from our web page, cheaper than at the ticket office and you don´t need to print it. Check carefully that you are at the real Cuevas del Drach, not at another caves nearby with confusing road panels, simulating to be Cuevas del Drach. On high season we advise strongly to book online from Cuevas del Drach official web site, with an small discount and ensuring your entry time.

Nature is a wonder - and this is obvious when you tour the caves. I also appreciated the organization, as they limit the number of people per hour (get your tickets in advance).

Having explored caves in their natural form, one thing I didn't like is the stone path and railings. I understand why these are here, but they do take a bit away from the experience. The concert at the end was nice - albeit on the edge of too touristy - with not surprisingly incredible acoustics.

We hired a car so had the freedom to drive here without having to pay for a tour bus. Would recommend to book online if you haven't bought tickets through a tour guide as they sell put quick and could turn up and have to wait like we did! Luckily it is close enough to walk to Porto Cristo which is lovely and had some lunch here and walk along the port. Was a nice day out wouldn't do again but was an experience.

Marvel at the wonders of nature in this subterranean wonderland. Listen to the strains of classical music as excellent musicians glide across a mirror like lake. No matter how many times I visit this place fills me with wonder. Try a bite to eat and a refreshing drink at the on site cafe, there is a small premium but no where near the mark-up of a UK attraction

Not good for people who can't go up and down steps because you're descending deep into the caves to get a spectacular look at a beautifully preserved, well lit amazing cave that is awesome not just because of its size but how different it is too. It's not claustrophobic at all and and you get to the lakes at the bottom of the cave and take a seat. Boats arrive with an orchestra playing, so cool!
Came here 20 years ago but I still couldn't get over how fantastic it was. No wonder it is a star attraction for visitors to Majorca
