We took guests to Nerja then Frigiliana for a day trip, Nerja first then while having enjoyed the walk around the villages stopped for a refreshment and as we were enjoying the views and lovely ambiance in Frigiliana decided to have dinner and then stay the night rather than drive back. Opposite where we were sitting you could see the hotel and thought why not. Quickly registered and booked in with two twin rooms, girls one and boy’s one, clean tidy rooms and shower facilities all that we required. Out locally for a meal and drinks, though you can eat in the hotel and they also supply breakfast – Car also parked overnight just across the road. Could not have worked out better.

Room Tip: We chose our rooms based on people in the group two married and two friends so Boys Room and girls room with twin beds

Firstly, the staff were friendly & very good, particularly Marco and the young lady on reception. It's in an excellent position between the old and new towns. The view from the balcony was stunning. The downsides were : room needed a bin (there was only a small one in the bathroom). No tea making facilities or fridge in the room. When we were there the cafe & bar were never open, despite the hotel being full. The breakfast was limited and quite disappointing.

Spent an evening here on a mini tour of the area and wanted a central location which is exactly what you get from this Hotel. We had a superior room which was spacious and had a fabulous terrace with rattan effect furniture overlooking the pool area and with marvellous views over the town and countryside. Worth paying extra for.

Yes the Hotel is a little dated and I get what some reviewers have mentioned about the general state of repair, but I see that as character! There was certainly no issue with cleanliness and all of the staff were very friendly.

Parking was so easy, left the car for 24 hours in the multi storey across the road for 10 euros, and if you exit the car park on foot via the main entrance their is a crossing on your right that leads straight to the Hotel door. Bars and restaurants all within easy reach - you could not be better located to enjoy the gentle bustle of this town.

If I was to visit Frigiliana again I would have no hesitation in booking this hotel again.

This is a fabulous part of Spain, 45 minutes from Malaga airport. We stayed in Hotel Villa, perfectly situated for walking and seen the village and surrounding countryside. It is so quaint, beautiful houses all painted white only different colour is on the doors. Pots & baskets of flowers in full bloom everywhere. Excellent restaurants one is as good as the other and the bar food is equally as good. Food and drink is very reasonably priced. The hotel room was spacious and very clean moved us to a room with a balcony FOC. Hotel is right beside the bus stop and ideal for going to Nerja (15 minutes) or other towns or beaches. Hotel staff very helpful with information on the area. A great place for walkers, you can walk the river bed or up the hills. The only thing I would warn people of is that it is hilly and loads of steps in the village and may not suit everybody.
