This is a wonderful experience: just as expected, this tiny, restored village is beautiful, quiet ( except perhaps at weekends,- and in peak season?) The house is restored with respect for its former style. It has mod cons, it is bare, but sufficient. It is very dark, but in summer that is what one needs. Not cold in October when we were there (3 pensioners). We enjoyed the rhythm of the village, sounds of the chickens, the donkey, cats, dogs ( though we miss some villagers' sense of responsibility: please tidy the pavement after your dogs!) and the sense of, plus the view of the wild mountain scenery is unique. We could take walks that suited also the less athletic of us. The restaurant is marvelous: very good food, very nice staff,- we felt " at home" there after two days.
The mountain road IS a trial if you are not used to maintain driving. Recommended: a not too low car.
We enjoyed also the lack of telephone and wifi. It is there already on your way down to Frigiliana.
