If you would close your eyes before driving up the hill, you could not differentiate if you are in Spain or Greece . Well maintained village , lot of pittoresken doors and little roads .
Great Tapas Tavernen invite for vine , food and conversation .
We enjoyed our sight seeing tour on the donkeys

This was one of our favorite stops in Andalusia. Though I am opposed to bullfighting and I would never watch a bullfight the stadium and history here was very interesting. It's in a beautiful part of town and offers many photo opportunities. Entrance was about 4 euros pp. I highly recommend.

Whilst bullfighting is pretty indefensible it is hard not to fall in love with the romance of this building. In entering through the front door you can almost feel the excitement of the Mijas populace at the start of the 20th century. This is all part of the culture of Southern Spain and the very walls tell a story going back 120 years. A must see as part of your visit to one of the most beautiful villages on the Costa Del Sol.

This place is beautiful, the views are stunning. There are beautiful little restaurants, and shops, tuk tuk rides, horse and cart rides, donkey rides (and they were looking better looked after than last year) , come by public transport if you can, it's cheap and gives you more time to look out of the window and admire the views. The bull ring is as it has always been, so authentic, the little church is beautiful, and the surrounding parks give you the descriptions of all the plants and flowers. Highly recommend this place for a day out in the mountain.

It was nice to see and meet the owner of the factory and have a tour . It was also great to see how excited and passionate he was about what he was doing and the way he is doing it .
