We had a lovely room at this hotel with a south facing balcony overlooking the mountain and pueblo mojacar and the pool and sea! The room was lovely and spacious and the hotel was very nice! The location was on the outskirts of the resort and there is nothing much around at all! Entertainment at night is all in Spanish and entertainment during the day the same! During the week the hotel was quiet but from fri to Sunday was bustling at the seams with Spanish guests obviously on a weekend break! The food is very nice but at weekends the restaurant is too busy and staff struggled to keep service to the standard they did during the week. Reception staff very helpful but as the area so quiet we don't think we would stay again ! This hotel is much nicer than its sister hotel marina playa although that one is on the main beach road !

Great hotel staff very friendly attentive, pleasant and patient . Room lovely big, free safe and fridge available bathroom very spacious. The only negative point is that there are no sets of drawers but plenty of wardrobe space. Balcony amazing size with fantastic views of the sea and pool. Hotel very quiet during the week had the swimming pools to ourselves most days. However at the weekends the hotel swelled from been very quiet nearly empty to full noisy and very busy but still felt welcoming and friendly. The location of the hotel is in a very quiet area with only one bar within walking distance and nowhere to walk so we found it to be too quiet . Buses are very cheap but do not always run at night time. The entertainment in the hotel during the week consisted of quizzes in Spanish. Pool areas are fantastic clean with plenty of space. Beach nearby is gritty sand but can get a bus to Vera Playa and Gruccha where there are sandy beaches with lifeguards and amenities. Would not stay at this resort again too quiet.

Room tip: If you can book a room on the Second floor with a sea view. Take some hangers as there are only two small drawers so most clothes need to be hung up.

This is a sister hotel to the Marina Playa which closes for the winter months. We stayed in August with grand children and would happily return. Like their other hotel the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was plentiful and tasty and the children loved the variety.Rooms were of a good size and very clean.Entertainment was of course directed at the majority (Spanish) as to be expected.Could not really fault it at the price.

Visited this hotel for 2 nights with friends. Great room, good size with view towards the sea. Food was plentiful and good quality. We had a celiac in our party and finding a reasonable choice was no problem. The staff were very helpful at all times. A bus goes from from the bottom of the street (10 min walk) to Old town of Mojacar Pueblo every half hour with one change (cost 1.20 Euros). It takes about 15 min. Last bus back is at 2345. Bar prices were average for Spain. Mainly Spanish guests but, with a little Spanish language, no problemo. Very good value overall.

Room tip: Upper floors facing the sea have best views and reasonably quiet.

The room was comfortable enough and the buffet at the restaurant quite good, even though the offer for celiacs wasn't as expected.
The swimming pool area was nice but needed a bit more of cleaning.
The reception was very rude, not helpful at all at any moment.
