It’s almost like walker no back in time to the Art Deco days. It was first time to dine there and their first time to serve brunch and they pulled it off without a hitch. They had a lovely and well-stocked Bloody Mary and Mimosa station at very reasonable prices. The live music was the perfect accompaniment. They offered many eggs Benedict options which were cooked to perfection with creamy, delicious hollandaise. Will definitely return.

Began Sunday brunch with new owners on Easter, April 1. Opened several minutes late (10:00 am reservations). Obvious problems with seating/reservations - took about 5 minutes (after finally opening doors) though we were second in line. Hostess filled 3 of 4 water glasses, then no wait staff for 10 minutes. Finally flagged one down. She took orders but had to ask in the back twice with our questions ("Can the poached egg on the Benedict be cooked hard, not runny?"). Took orders; drinks came more than 5 minutes later. Food much longer than normal (and forgot the coffee order). Bill was wrong (incorrect drink price). Food was good but all Benedicts except for French Toast. Very little variety.
Really liked the place before the change. Will give it another chance but this was disappointing.

Wow!!! New owner Claude is awesome. We were In town with the MEAC tournament. Stopped in the day before to determine live entertainment for the week. Games ran late and we got to restaurant at time live musician was finished playing set. Claude remembered that we had stopped in the day before. When she finished her set he asked her to play an additional 30 minuets.. just for us!!! Love this nice, quaint, quality restaurant. See you next year Claude! Thanks for everything!!!

Server, Alphonso, was poorly trained. He didn't know how to pronounce or describe the soup of the day and had to get the owner to come and explain it. I had to ask if there were any dinner specials; there was one that he had to find flipping through a note pad. I specifically said I wanted my French Onion soup (which was terrible) BEFORE my entrees and everything came out at the same time, so I sent the soup back and it still showed up on my bill. Calamari was a clumpy mess of breading - Shrimp and Grits had no flavor other than the shrimp having been frozen. My wife's Chicken Parmesan resembled something from our local pizzeria, and the menu is unoriginal and boring. Dessert options were "chocolate this, chocolate that, more chocolate and chocolate something or other." One star is for the good cocktails, nice ambiance and live music, but a disappointment from start to finish. We were celebrating my birthday and decided to go have drinks and dessert at the new big shiny hotel around the corner.
