My fifth visit to VV and happy to say I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. Rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated with best quality linens and amenities. Everything you would expect from a top end boutique hotel plus more. For larger groups, the apartments are perfect. Attention to detail in every respect. Breakfast served under the willow tree..fresh eggs and a generous gourmet food buffet. Perfectly situated a little out of the main centre and surrounded by wonderful gardens. An easy bike ride to the beach. Close to the train station and walking trails for exploring the Cinque Terre and surrounding areas. Train station shuttle service. Free car parking. Boat Tours with Angelo and pizza nights are just a couple of the many activities you can experience staying here. The owners and staff happily go above and beyond to ensure your stay is relaxing and memorable. Their willingness to share 'insider tips' and recommendations ensures you are able to see and experience the very best of the Cinque Terre. Thanks to everyone...always a joy to stay here.

I had the pleasure of staying at Villa Valentina for three nights recently during a trip abroad with two of my girl friends. From the moment we stepped onto the property, we were greeted with friendly smiles from the staff and owners of the villa. The room we stayed in was large, impeccably clean, and beautifully appointed. Each morning, breakfast was served outside in the garden patio under a beautiful willow tree. We enjoyed a delicious spread that would include treats such as made-to-order omelettes and french toast - all included with our stay. Our group also embarked on the sunset cruise with Captain Angelo that included dinner al fresco in Vernazza - an unforgettable experience! The villa is a close train ride away from the towns of Cinque Terre. The quaint downtown Levanto is a walkable distance from the villa and is certainly worth a visit as well! Leaving Villa Valentina was probably the most difficult part of our trip - the entire stay was a dream come true. Highly recommended. Thank you, Paula & Angelo!

Villa Valentina was one of three stops on a friend trip to France and Italy, and by far the hardest to leave. The staff and owners treat you like family and bend over backward to make you feel welcomed and help organize your trip before and during your stay, as well as make local recommendations. The house/rooms are spotless, roomy, and well equipped with all the comforts of home (best showers I’ve had across Europe). A good selection of free snacks, water, and aperitifs greet you in the front room, and you even have your own stocked (free) mini bar. Every morning we were greeted with many smiles and a wonderful breakfast spread with made to order farm fresh eggs in the garden patio, in addition to a special featured dish. This was no standard free breakfast! In fact, nothing is standard about this place! I could go on forever about the warmth, atmosphere, and experience we had! Hope to visit again!

Villa Valentina is an absolutely charming Bed and Breakfast in Levanto, the magically picturesque town on the north end of the Cinque Terre chain. Hosts Paula and Angelo have been incredibly generous, and their daughter Valentina is a delightful gem. After being greeted at the train station and then given an orientation offered over an aperitif with horsd’oeuvres, I was made to feel perfectly at home. The villa is lovely and each of the guestrooms are beautifully decorated. Bikes are available for rides up the coastline along the renovated old rail tracks - super fun! The Friday Pizza Night was a delight - surely the best pizza north of Napoli. Finally, a boatride excursion with Angelo along the spectacular Cinque Terre coastline completed a perfect getaway. I give my visit an unforgettable five-plus-star rating ... and I sure hope to return!

Having come here last year out of luck on our four month European tour, we have thought about it often and reminisce on the beauty of the town and the warmth of our hosts at Villa Valentina.

Paula and Angelo are amazingly welcoming, and make sure that we have everything we want - When we want it! This time, Paula had even laid out a yoga mat for me ready for my morning practice! She is also great at organizing tours in the area, suggesting places to eat or visit, dropped us off at the base of the walk over to Montorosso (so we didn't have to do the extra km's to get there), and will happily sit around having a chat with us when time allows. The best part though, has to be the stunning breakfast her and Barbara put on in the mornings... fresh tomatoes, figs, oranges and berries from the garden, eggs from their hens, honey from the neighbours bees - everything you could possibly want, and always a special treat like French toast with legitimate Canadian Maple and home made Blackberry compote or porridge with all the additions. If you're a foodie, I guarantee this is the best breakfast you'll find in the area, and she can even make you a REAL coffee just like back home!!

If you need another reason, then the privacy and quiet of the location is great and all the rooms/apartments are uniquely designed to make you feel right at home with all the mod-cons.

This is our second time back, and were already locking in dates for next year. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do, and don't spread the word too much - we need our room back!
