The location & views from this hotel are amazing. The hotel has a beautiful terrace for the guests to use. You can have your breakfast there, a glass of wine in the evening - but......! Upon check-in, we were informed that there was a Wedding Party the next evening, so the balcolny & restaurant would be out of use to the Hotel Guests. Fair enough, we went out for dinner, came back & obviously the wedding was in full swing until the early hours.
The next day, a childrens Birthday Party, so too noisy to sit on the terrace at lunchtime & enjoy the view. That evening, we came back from dinner wanting to sit on the terrace with a bottle of wine, but were met with an 18th Birthday Party, which we were not told about, so were unable to use the facilities yet again. We had to request another room as the teenagers were making so much noise outside our room & dogs were barking in the hotel.
Our original room was OK, not the Superior Garden room that was shown on the website photographs. The bathroom had black mould all around the bath/shower.
So out of the 3 nights we booked, we could only sit outside for the 1st night.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel for the above reasons. The staff did give us a free bottle of wine for the inconvenience of the noise & having to change rooms!

We stayed here for 6 nights recently on our Honeymoon. The staff are very helpful and the food in the restaurant is very good. You are near to transport links that can get you around the island very easily or 15min walk to the port. Overall a lovely experience, I would rightly recommend a visit.

Ok so I'm not going to list all the problems with the rooms because they are well documented on here, and also the lovely staff were incredibly courteous and generous with sorting out my problems.
The hotel exterior and pool area are nice, beautiful view of the bay and also you get a cocktail on arrival. We left early and were told we would be charged a penalty, which they then waived without is even complaining. If you're not too fussy about your room then I'd say it's a great place. The staff are the nicest I've come across in my many visits to Italy. I think with the fabulous location, and some work updating the rooms and modernising the furniture, this hotel could be a wonderful boutique hotel.

Having searched many hotels in Ischia, and unfamiliar with the island, we decided to book Hotel Myage. After numerous searches and past reviews, we decided we wanted to stay close to the port and was very happy that we did so. Right outside of the hotel were the city buses that took you to Ischia port and other locations throughout the island. The food at the restaurant was very good and the staff was very helpful in any way you needed them. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The only negative thing was wifi was inconsistent with service. You needed to move to the right spot but that might be because the island doesn't provide great internet service. We would definitely go back!

We loved the location of this hotel as it is only 10 minutes to the port in Ischia and overlooks both the port and all of the surrounding islands. The views are truly spectacular. What we liked most about the hotel were the views, the dining on the terrace, and the service. The hotel staff are all super friendly. The breakfast choices are also very varied and well done.

What we did not like was the quality of the room. It was a deluxe room with a sea view so we expected better furnishings, a mattress cover for the bed, soft linens, and a shower that actually worked. The view and the terrace area were wonderful, yet the bathroom was dated and the shower head did not function well at all. On our last day, we had no hot water between 8 and 9 am when we tried to shower.

The bed had only a set of sheets on the mattress and an old fashioned, heavy bed spread that we had to take off the bed. There were two pillows, both not very soft and with no feather option. Between the bed and the bath room, we would give this hotel a max of 3 stars.

Lastly, if you don't like stairs then do not get rooms 401 to 406 as there are several (e.g. 100 or more) steps up and down to the rooms.

The hotel has so much potential and the staff are truly outstanding. We were disappointed that the room did not match that level of service.
