We booked a last minute trip to get the last of the season’s snow and couldn’t have been more delighted. The hotel is true ski in ski out. I didn’t realise they have their own ski hire so we wasted time traipsing into the village. My boots didn’t fit properly but I got new boots at the hotel expertly fitted. The rooms are functional and clean and the views are amazing. I was really impressed with the quality and diversity of the food. Huge array to suit my palate (pulses, salads, roasted veg etc). My son would have liked more slabs of meat which was duly served on our last night. The spa is wonderful. Staff really friendly too. Oh and the skiing was amazing. Good dump of snow and beautiful slopes for intermediates.

We went away at February and overpaid for a mediocre place that said it was ski in ski out and wasn’t and was so huge it was overwhelmed with people.

Stayed at Araucaria with my family to ski in La Plagne.

The location is absolutely fantasy location for skiing, the meeting point and several ski lifts are about 100m away from the hotel. The ski shop within the hotel was very well priced, and had great equipment for beginners like us.

The breakfast at the hotel was very good.

The family rooms were large and comfortable for a family with two young kids.

The hotel's spa was excellent with an adults and kids pool, along with a sauna/steam room/ice room. Perfect after a long day of hitting the slopes.

The recreation centre was especially fabulous for the kids with board games, arcades, a movie area and a nice relaxing area for adults.

Overall, it is an excellent hotel for young families. I would highly recommend it.

It was our second stay in this hotel and it wasn‘t the last one. The rooms are very nice, stuff is very friendly, the meals are very good und the spa is beautiful. We enjoyed a relaxing massage. We are looking forward to our next ski holiday in Araucaria Hotel.
