Parking costs 3€ right next to the museum, but you should go downhill and take the first right on Rue Charles Laurent, there are a few free parking spots and they are well located, inbetween the city center and the museum.

Entrance fee is 6€ for adults. You can combine with 2 other museums.

The movie is very moving, and well put together. You should definitely go and see it because the 360° effect adds more feeling to it. The caption is authentic.

The movie theatre is located on top of a hill, 5 minutes steep uphill walk from the centre of the tiny village. There is also a parking next to it, to avoid the walk. The view is great and I was also intrigued by the concept of the 360 degrees theatre.

Unfortunately the movie was disappointing: it is a French production, and - as most French documentaries - it lacked focus. Instead of targeting the Normandy events, we got the whole history of WW2 compressed in 10 minutes, with footage from a billion different events. There is even footage from de Gaulle entering Paris, which is definitely French-focussed and totally irrelevant to D-Day.

The short movie is wrapped up with some bizarre historical painting of the Normans (of Hastings time) and Mont St.Michel, thrown in for good measure (to promote local tourism). There is no narration; probably the producers did not want to offend he international audience by selecting a main language. However, the written summary is in English, French and - weirdly - German.

Entrance fee is 6 Euro. Would not recommend, unless you’re interested in random footage from WW2 and promotional footage of Normandy.

It’s a short 20 minute film but in that time you’ll get a good understanding of the war, the impact and devastation it caused France. A previous post says its should be updated with modern techniques. I disagree. It benefits from original footage, and lack of CGI. Worth visiting.

This will make sure we never forget. It's a must see attraction for old & young that is both emotional & educational.

It's well made & depicts what happened, & it really brings it home when you leave & go back outside to the beach.

Not good enough! The movie is old fashioned, not taking advantage of so many technical possibilities, it wasn’t moving enough, without inspiration. look for a better option to learn about d-day in a more impressive way.
