A Sunday lunch after house hunting. Very small crowd when we arrived at 1130 but the place was packed by 1230. There is street parking and two municipal lots within a block of the cafe. A very large menu that can be a bit confusing. But the selections are all eye catching. Service was friendly and prompt. You place your order and get your own drinks. Find your seat and wait for the food. Table seating is at a premium but there is a large amount of bar space.
Our food came up within 5 minutes. And boy was it good. Fresh and flavorful. Attractively presented. Prices were a bit high but not far above fast food and the quality is so much better than fast food. There is a serve-yourself salsa bar so you can season to your taste. Portions were good for lunch. But if you had a huge appetite and ordered multiple portions, the price would add up. We were all very happy with Senor Ramon's. I am sure we will be back to explore the menu further.

The most important thing to understand about Senor Ramon is that it offers some truly outstanding food, but at a price. As far as a rating goes, this restaurant would definitely pull 3.5 verging on 4 if I could rate it as such. Unfortunately, Trip Advisor doesn't allow for an in-between rating, so I am falling on "3" for the following reasons:

1.) Chintzy insides. The seating isn't terribly great. For a place with upscale eating, it offers plastic-y raised seating that's not really designed for an actual eating experience. If you're out and about getting drinks on a Friday night, then it's a great stop-in for some gastronomic refueling. If you want to go out for dinner, it's not really much of an experience. Don't get me wrong. It's not shoddy, but it's definitely got more of an upscale eatery vibe than that of an actual restaurant.

2.) Pricing. Let's be clear. The tacos are superb. All the food here is fantastic, but you're paying a lot for a rather small taco. The pork belly taco is delicious, but if you're hungry, you're going to drop some serious coinage to fill yourself up. There's a level of tolerablility to what you're paying for. There's a time and a place, so to speak, for Senor Ramon.

At the end of the day, Senor Ramon is a great choice if you're not terribly hungry and looking for good food. The beer selection is on par with most places and you're going to get something delicious if you go. But, if you're hungry and jonesin' for some tacos, there are other places that will fill you up better.

I don't think it's the end-all, be-all of the Leesburg dining scene, but it's a great staple within its own context. Keep it in mind, but don't expect it to sate anything beyond the desire for light to medium noshing.

We work down the street. This is an employee favorite stop and popular demand for reward luncheons. Be adventurous and try something new. The tacos are all great and the old fashioned corn fritters are a blast from my southern roots past. Good food a reasonable prices. Enjoy!

We read a bunch of reviews and decided to give it a try. SO disappointed. $40 for 2 adults and a child, for 2 Patagonia tacos, 2 shrimp tacos ("TS 478"), some nachos, corn tots, 2 soft drinks and a beer. Sounds like a deal, right? Nope! The corn tortillas were dense, flabby and cold; the crispy shrimp were stone cold; the "nachos" my son ordered came as a cardboard boat of stale chips with nothing else other than a sprinkle of cold shredded cheese right out of a bag. I couldn't believe it. The salsa "bar" had 1 spicy red sauce, 1 mild green sauce, and what looked like a bowl of sliced jalapeno rings out of a jar floating in some kind of liquid. The corn tots were good. The space is clean but very tiny, with just a few tiny tables to sit at - don't bother going if there are 4 or more of you. In fact, don't bother going if you're looking for warm Mexican food.

I thought we were going to the brewery but was so pleasantly surprised with the taqueria that was adjacent to the brewery!! This taqueria has a taco shop next to the crooked run brewery in Ashburn. The tacos are very authentic and fresh. There are 3 salsas to choose from as toppings to make them as mild or as hot as you like them! The ramon original taco and the carnitas were to die for. There really wasn't a taco that wasn't tasty!! They all had original names that I don't recall anymore but everyone was raving about them!
