We visit Charlottesville fairly regularly for my daughter’s doctor visits at UVA Medical Center. Our regular Doubletree wasn’t an option this trip. I held out to the last minute because I was uncomfortable staying outside our comfort zone, but based on our budget and the reviews, we decided on the Sleep Inn & Suites Monticello. What a relief it was to enter to friendly faces at check in and a spacious and clean room on the 3rd floor for our two nights. We had neighbors but never heard a peep. Also, breakfast was GREAT. The eggs and bacon were fresh and my daughter was pleased with her waffle. It was a short trip to the UVA Campus and the Medical Center. We didn’t get to try out the pool this trip, but we’ll check it out next time. The only somewhat concerning thing was the parking. Spaces were tight and after a short 12 hour admission, we came back in the dark to a full parking lot and had to park on the back side of the building. We had no problems, but it did make me nervous. I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.More
