This is a great combination of value to quality. Not quite high end food, but way below high end prices.

Fresh food, good service, doesn’t have a real friendly vibe. We usually get take out. Could use an update.

The Joy Luck restaurant was okay and the service average. For sure the serving size was large and easily shared by several. If you want spicy dishes then make sure you ask for them since the normal "spicy dishes" are not very hot.

The service here was excellent and the food was good. The food wasn't too expensive, on par for what I expected. We were there before the dinner rush and even though we stayed a little after we were done they still refilled our drinks and made sure we didn't need anything else. We did leave an extra tip for the great service. The chicken in the Sweet and Sour was OK, but the beef in the Mongolian Beef was really good. We got one of the dinner specials and we realized when we got our food that it didn't come with rice or noodles like we would've hoped.

The Mandarin is rated as the premier Chinese restaurant in Utah, though I'd say the tastes at Joy Luck were quite comparable, and less expensive. We were there with two other couples, and shared multiple dishes. None of them disappointed. This is definitely someplace we'll visit again.
