Fairly pedestrian layout, but surrounded by beautiful red rock formations, thus its name. Played as an additional nine after playing 18 elsewhere.

with all the nice courses surrounding the saint george area you tend to forget this course. Friends have told me about the cause but never made time. Well this summer I was playing a week in the area with friends. We arrived on a saturday am and thought lets get some practice in. We chose Dixie Red Hills and could not be more pleased. I have now played there 3 times. Very good condition, friendly staff, and the course can eat your cake if your not ready. It is NO pushover and recommend this when time is limited to play 18.

Beautiful views, and well kept course. Booked a tee time online to make it easier. We enjoyed a quick 9 holes, and would definitely go again!

A short 9 hole course that you go around twice that was the first St George course and fit into some beautiful grounds and scenery. The pace is a little too slow for me and it seems to be favored by a local senior crowd who have a good time playing and enjoying each others company. To make the short course challenging it is "tricked up" a bit with radical blind dog legs, sloping fairways and high rough so your first time playing might leave you scratching your head but as you get to know it, it would be fun.
