This log cabin is lovely inside and out but unfortunately is showing signs of wear and tear. The kitchen is quite shabby, the sink is badly chipped and badly stained, the kitchen units are in dire need of a bit of TLC....knobs on cupboards missing for one thing. The bathroom, again, is in need of updating, the wood is water stained, shower tray marked. The second bedroom is small and the furniture...especially in the main bedroom... is mismatched and doesn't fit the 'log cabin' look'. Quite a few light bulbs are out. Veranda screen door has no handle and doesn't fit tight, and the outside chairs are tatty. The BBQ is gross.
The positives are the bed and pillows in the main bedroom are comfy, the lounge furniture adequate. The kitchen is well equipped and the aircon works well...though if you're sitting outside it is noisy. Lashings of hot water and easy to use cooker.
The cabin is in a lovely setting and there is a security gate opened with a code.. Also you're not very far from Wimberley town.
I would recommend this cabin...with all it's faults...to anyone visiting Wimberley
