My husband & I did the 3 hour mountain ride this week on our visit to Terlinga with Lajitas Stables. Our guide was Hayley, who was extremely helpful and very informative not only on the horses themselves but also on the local area. We both thoroughly enjoyed the ride and would highly recommend this to anyone who is wanting to truly experience the location, what better way to do so on horse-back. Thank you again!

Went to go visit Big Bend National Park with some friends and we decided to go horseback riding. We did the two hour ride through the mine area and hills, it was amazing! We were beginners and none of us have been on a horse. But the 2 hour ride was easy and if you’re a beginner don’t be intimated about it.
Had a fun time and our wrangler, Jess, was great!
If you are in the area I definitely recommend doing this!

We went on the 2 hour old mine tour and it was awesome! Our guide was friendly and the horses were very well behaved and well taken care of. Totally recommended!

What a stunningly beautiful ride. Wrangler Dakota led my wife and I and several others on a 3 hour afternoon ride up to the top of the mountain overlooking the stables and the Rio Grande below. Dakota's knowledge and likeability really made the trip a fun adventure. We will definitely ride again with Lajitas & Big Bend Stables on our next trip to Lajitas and Terlingua.
