First time in The Keepers and we will be going back. Every part of the experience from the service, wine selection, appetizers to the dinner was great. Decor was inviting. The noise was just the right level in the back ground but you could still have a conversation at the table.

Once again, a new concept from the group that introduced Whiskey Cake, 60 Vines, and Mexican Sugar. The Keeper is an elevation of not only well-prepared sustainable seafood but with savory with the right spices and excellent sides. The menu is presented on an IPad so you not only read about the entree but see it in its final glory. The decor is inviting, the service is good but a few details will improve with time. Like all of their restaurants, practice makes perfect. We will be returning.

Had reservations on a busy Saturday night, and we were all seated within 10 minutes of arrival. (They had to re-arrange some tables to accommodate our group).

My order of 6 crispy fried oysters was lightly crusted and served with a delicious tangy mayo. We also enjoyed the PEI mussels with a coconut lime sauce, which we were happy to sop up with the crispy grilled bread. Next up were was the shrimp and grits, with white cheddar grits and succulent shrimp.

Others in our party ordered the whole red snapper, the blackened red fish and the Akaushi burger, and all agreed the food was high quality.

A standout side order of roasted brussel sprouts with a spicy lime glaze should not be missed! Everyone at the table enjoyed these.

Well worth a visit, but recommend reservations.

This is quite simply one of the coolest and cutest restaurants around. It is worth visiting just to see how much thought can go into design and details. The tile work, photography, ferns, art and even electrical piping is a design dream.

The food was fine, but we were disappointed given the look of the place and Frontburner's excellent food elsewhere. Everything just seemed a little bland and uninspired. Both kids got chicken sandwiches (I know at a seafood restaurant), but the breading instantly fell off the sandwich that was advertised to be "crispy." the fish is clearly fresh though and that is great to see.

We liked the fried rice quite a bit, just felt the rest was a little bland. Maybe it was just that day. We'll definitely try it again just cuz the place is so cool inside.

If you like seafood with a twist this place is a Keeper. My wife and I wanted to shake things up during the weekdays. Friends told us about The Keeper so we decided to give it a try. Looking at their website, we read about their Happy Hour Specials and decided to check it out.

4-6 PM MONDAY – FRIDAY...$2 OFF SELECT DRINK
Featured: Tiki Cocktails, Wines and Sake by the Glass, Drafts Beer, House Blend Light Rum, House Blend Dark Rum, and House Blend Cachaca

HALF PRICED SELECT SHAREABLES: Point Judith Calamari – $6; PEI Mussels – $7; and Seafood Campechana – $7

It was hot when we got there but nice and cool inside - the tollway driving experience was soon dissolved by cool well-crafted cocktails. It has a fun whimsical atmosphere because of its unique and eclectic decor.

We paired our drinks with small shared plates of Fried Oysters and Calamari. Both were worth a visit back. We had downed our cocktails and opted for their Craft Beer Options...I had the "Idol Time" and my wife the "Golden Opportunity" both were terrific with our food. We finished with an order of Cioppino and PEI Mussels. The Cioppino was spicier than my wife expected and my Mussels were steamed in a broth of coconut milk which was good but not as good as the more traditional White Wine and Vegetables broth. None the less we really enjoyed this outing and will return soon.
