“This apartment has lots of positives going for it……...”
Reviewed 7 February 2018 for a stay in January 2018

We stayed at this apartment in the Los Cordones complex in the heart of Playa de las Americas for 3 weeks in Jan 2018. The apartment complex is in a fantastic location on the patch, but is tucked away from any noise. The positive aspects of the place by far outweigh the negatives.
Positives include:
-the location
-the private hot tub, garden and balcony. You can always get the sun or the shade as needed
-the quick response by the owner, Rita, when we needed help
-UK TV if you fancy a night in
-the equipment (washing machine, safe, iron, microwave, fridge freezer, hairdryer, beach towels)
-the really helpful reception staff at Los Cordones
-the airport transfers arranged via the owner
-the lovely pool area and happy hour at the bar
-the wifi
-the great range of friendly restaurants and bars nearby (Daniel's is great for coffee and breakfast)
-the cleanliness of the apartment and the complex could not be faulted

The not so positive aspects were:
-the very creaky and uncomfortable bed
-the absence of any drawer space in the bedroom
-the uncomfortable settee (not great if you want to stay in for a night)
-the view (over a derelict building/piece of land)
-the TV connection which froze on occasion

The positive aspects make for an above average apartment. However, as we were there for 3 weeks, the uncomfortable bed and settee were problematic. We would book this apartment again if these were renewed and drawer space was provided.

Management Response
5 Dec 2017
Yes, we had problems with electricity in this apartment during your stay for hot tub problems, but these problems were fixed as soon as it was possible to do this. We had to wait for hot tub new details which were broken. For TV my colleague was twice in the apartment, he showed you how to get it.
Our apologies for inconvenience you had in our apartment.

“A quite apartment with a private garden in the middle of Playa Americas”
Reviewed 23 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

We stayed in the apartment for 1 week in July. The apartment is located in the far corner of the fenced secured complex with a swimming pool. It has a great private garden with a table and chairs, 2 sunbeds and Jacuzzi. The apartment is Ok for 2 adults or 2 adults + 1 child. There is High-speed Wi-Fi, but there were some problems with cable TV. No noise at night, very quite – good for sleeping. But unfortunately the bed is a bit noisy when turning at night while sleeping. The nearest beach is just 5 minutes to walk, but it is not good enough for swimming. There is a much better sand beach to another direction towards Cleopatra Palace Hotel across the main walking street of Playa Americas, but it is about 12 minutes to walk over there. However this apartment is a good place to stay in Playa Americas. It is a big plus - a quite apartment with a private garden in the middle of vibrating and shinning Playa Americas.

“Pleasantly surprised”

Great little apartment in a quiet corner of a peaceful complex that is right in the heart of Las Americas. This apartment has everything you are likely to need, including it's own Wifi, so no connection problems at all. Only Spanish TV channels, but who goes on holiday to watch TV. The apartment has both a reasonably sized private garden, complete with two sunbeds, table, chairs and parasol, as well as a great jacuzzi hottub, and a balcony to the front. This means you can move around to get sun for as long as possible, or get shade if you need it.
The only thing I would improve would be to put in a slightly bigger shower enclosure. The current one is adequate, with good water pressure, but a little bit tight and you had to take care not to accidentally knock the control while showering if you didn't want to get either red hot or freezing water.
Overall a great option if you are looking for something private yet central in Las Americas.
