It was an amazing trip. Friendly staffs especially Toni who works at the rooftop bar. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

Clean environment. Good location. Very beautiful hotel especially at night..

We visited the first week in September, after a long transfer we were pleased to be greated with a cold glass of Prosecco and told our room had been upgraded to a superior room complimentary( very nice touch).

The location is perfect everything you need and want is a stone throw away. The hotel was always very clean, very tidy and the staff were so helpful.

Breakfast had an amazing choice of food available each morning, staff were very quick with cleaning tables etc which is good.

We didn’t use the lower pool much but the infinity pool is what makes this hotel special, the view up there is incredible and it’s so chilled.

Would 100% recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return next year

Booked this hotel for my partners birthday in October. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly Receptionist with a glass of Prosecco. Check in was swift. We were on the 3rd floor, a superior room which overlooked the pool. The room was spotless, beautiful bathroom with walk in shower. Good range of toiletries which were replenished regularly, Flat screen Tv, and a fridge. Beds were super comfy. As we had a superior room there was no extra charge for the safe which was a nice touch. We were on a bed and breakfast basis, and the breakfast was excellent. There was something for everyone. Cereals, porridge, breads, fruit, cakes and the usual cooked breakfast. There was a chef cooking omelettes, pancakes and fried eggs. Plenty of sun beds but the pool was very cold. The roof pool had plenty of beds and the views were spectacular. The hotel was in a prime position, the beach across the road with shops and bars close by. We didn’t get to the square as apparently it had closed down, being towards the end of season. Can’t really comment on the hotel entertainment as we only watched one show (tribute il divo) and they were superb. We left the hotel early morning and realised unfortunately we had carelessly left my partners wallet in the safe. The airport staff contacted the TUI rep. On our return home we were in regular contact with the hotel by email and phone, with the help of our next door neighbour who is Spanish. The wallet arrived approx 5 days later, cannot praise the hotel enough. This is a lovely first class hotel and Santa Ponsa is lovely. Would definitely return but would come June/July.

Food Old. Husband refused to eat in restaurant on 3rd day.
Now today I've been stuck in a downstairs toilet for 10 min banging on door as lights not working.
Husband got me out. Bar and reception staff 'I'm sorry' quote.

Will never stay here again.
End of season. No level of customer service.
Give your money to someone else.
Definitely don't book here.

Stayed in this hotel in September. When booking online, it isn't clear that there are two parts of the hotel - one that is refurbished and one that is brand new.

The part that is refurbished was the part we were in. The standard of the refurbishment was poor. There was damp on the walls and ceiling in the bathroom which was making the wallpaper peal. Funny smell in the corridor the whole time and i believe this was why. And the room key never worked! The shower was done up on a budget too with the plastic runner that the door was on, often came up and allowed water to run onto the floor making puddles. The view was also awful from the refurbished rooms and service in the hotel was very slow. Also heard staff arguing a lot behind the bar which is quite embarrassing! Waited half an hour for a couple of drinks. Drinks are also more expensive on the rooftop bar which doesn't make any sense?

The rooftop pool was lovely. The sunbeds were comfortable and the pool was a good temperature. You could also have food and drink around the pool which they bought to you. Only downside was that people would be up on the roof at 8am putting their towels down so it was only lucky that we managed to get a space every day as we were morning people.

Great location right on the beach and lots of nice restaurants if you turn left out of the hotel.

The new rooms looked really nice so i can't comment on those. Just be careful when booking and make sure you've booked in the new hotel, not the refurbished section!
