Situated next to the Paloma Park this Hindu temple is plain with whitewashed walls. It is unlike most Hindu temples elsewhere which are usually a riot of colour and decoration. In fact it looks more like a mosque. Since it was closed it was impossible to tell whether the interior was more typical.

Accidently we spotted this white washed Hindu temple when coming out of park. Temple is surrounded with peaceful location. When we went to enter in, the doors were locked. Looked for any information outside on the main enterance but there was no information displayed for opening and closing time. Then we came back again to see the temple and got disappointed as it was closed again. Shame we couldn't see inside and could not find any information from anywhere for opening hours of this temple and missed to see little gem inside.

There should be displayed information on main entrance for daily visiting hours for tourists.

Do not be put off by the ancient hindu religious sign, swastika, which was hijacked by the nazis ;it is displayed in the temple, and it was a holy sign 4000 years before they stole it .The temple is built in a very tasteful and pleasing way ,it is compact and in serene surroundings. The deities are gorgeous, there was no one there apart from a caretaker the day we went.
It would be a idea to put information of the meaning of each God/Goddess ,what they exactly represent for persons who are not of the faith ,to gain deeper understanding, otherwise the templeis definitely worth a visit ,its only on the other side of Paloma park ,a short walk away..

I particularly liked the atmosphere in the temple, and the warm welcome. The gift shop was also useful. The display of statues and artefacts was very interesting. This visit can be combined with a visit to the adjacent butterfly park
