“An amazing villa with something for everyone!”

We just came back from spending 10 days in the gorgeous Villa Quattro. It was so perfect. We traveled there for a family wedding and to have a holiday also. We were a party of 8 with grandparents and 2 kids aged 6 and 3. There was so much space for everyone, we could all sit together on one of the many beautiful terraces or you could find a lovely place to sit alone should you like some quiet time.
The garden is so pretty and well kept, loads of sun for sun lovers and also lots of shade if one desires. the pool was brilliant, really big, the kids were made up. It was safe also for smaller children as there are gates there to prevent entrance into pool
The house inside is fabulous and the kitchen was so well equipped it was a joy to cook and barbecue. The beds were so comfortable and everywhere was cleaned to perfection.
We ate in some nights and then explored some of the restaurants in Benalmadena Pueblo which is an absolutely gorgeous village up the road.
Everywhere is convenient, a fantastic supermarket and chemist just up the road, also cafes and restaurants near by.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this stunning house, in fact I would love to go back. Joanna was a pleasure to deal with as were the people looking after it in Spain. Thank you so much! x

“Amazing Villa”

I stayed at this villa with 9 other friends & family for my 21st birthday in May and it was perfect for us. The villa was massive with plenty of space and rooms to explore and the garden/pool area was extremely well kept. There were many eating and balcony areas, including a BBQ area which we used for evening meals; the pool was also a decent size!

John & Marie met us at the villa and were more than helpful with everything we needed to know, also letting us know about local nightlife and places to go. Joanna also made the whole process as smooth as possible.

The location of the villa was ideal as it was 10 or so minutes away in a taxi from the main nightlife & clubs near the marina. Although 2 out of the 3 nights we stayed at the villa as it provided everything we needed! There was also a supermarket and a number of shops 5 minutes walk from the villa, which had everything you could need.

I definitely recommned staying at this villa due its perfect location and size, we are all trying to organise revisiting this year or early next!

“Perfect villa for any occasion”

From the start dealing with Joanna was a pleasure, no question was too much and the whole booking process was painless. I stayed at this villa with 6 friends for 2 nights for a bit of a boys short holiday. From the moment we all set eyes on the villa we were all gobsmacked, it was fantastic. We were met by John and his wife who look after the villa and they were very helpful and pleasant and helped us settle in. The rooms were great and all well equipped with en suites. The kitchen and living room were again very spacious.
Down by the pool we had the built in BBQ on full blast all day with constant supplies of food coming from it while lounging around the perfect pool, in the sun during the day and shaded a little later on.
There's a supermarket just a 5 minute walk up the hill that had everything you could possibly need.
We didn't visit the nightlife in the nearby towns as we had such a great time in the villa.
There's so much to this villa that I can highly recommend, right from the top of the villa on the sun terrace to the ground floor bedroom.
We were so impressed I have already asked for a repeat booking in 2015 as we can't wait to get back.
Roll on 2015!!

“Lovely villa - especially the pool and garden”

We enjoyed a very pleasant 2 week stay at Villa Quattro. We were met by John, who manages the place locally with his wife, and they were very friendly, helpful and ready to address any issues. It is a very spacious villa with plenty of different areas to relax, both inside and out. We were 2 families (unrelated) with 3 children between us - so the property was bigger than we actually needed - and we could go for hours without seeing some members of the party! The kitchen was particularly nice - well laid out with loads of cupboard space and equipment.
There were several dining areas, though they were generally designed for 6 - max 8 people - so not sure how larger parties would have managed. The roof terrace was just wonderful in the early mornings before it got too hot, with lovely views over the rooftops and gardens out towards the sea. In the hotter part of the day the pool was well shaded by a gorgeous lush tropical garden (take care with the pool steps though - they are lethally slippy).
The downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely, but upstairs the joined rooms (note - no door to close them off from each other) were less so - in fact the en-suite was pretty old and shabby compared with the others and really needs updating. This made room allocation a little awkward as there was a natural tendency for one family to take the downstairs and the other upstairs.
We splashed out on this villa despite its price (quite a bit more than we'd normally pay tbh) because it seemed to have that little bit extra - ie as well as table tennis it had a pool table, so the kids were well catered for - and a running machine by the pool (I'm a runner so that was quite appealing too). As it turned out the running machine and pool table were no-longer there - so that was disappointing. Also the 'level walk - no hills' to the Butterfly Farm was actually up quite a long steep hill (I know because I ran it every morning!). But these are minor points - I mention them only in case they matter to anyone else.

Locally there is a small Carrefour only a 5 minute walk up the hill - which was soooo useful as we didn't need to plan too far ahead (we probably popped up there 3 or 4 times a day!). There were also a few cafe's but more for breakfast type food so we didn't try any of them - although they seemed quite popular. There is also 'Wynne's bar' - an English-run place with Sky Sports which kept the football fans happy.

The Pueblo is walkable, but it's quite a way and uphill, so although we did it a couple of times it was mostly a bit too hot (even of an evening). The town itself is a treasure - lots of narrow windy streets, plenty of restaurants. We went there a few times to eat and really must make mention of the restaurant at the Hotel Fonda. We went there for a tapas lunch one day and found the food excellent and very well priced; the outside terrace has a lovely view and it was very quiet (probably because it's not very noticeable), The waiter Miguel was delightful. We returned another evening for their 'taster' menu which was, again, excellent and highly recommended. On our last evening we again walked into the Pueblo to save cooking and by chance happened upon an North African market which occupied most of the town giving it a fantastic atmosphere (apparently it's an annual week-long event). We had another lovely meal in one of the outdoor squares and the event really rounded off a lovely holiday perfectly.
