Practically perfet in many ways.
We enjoyed our stay.
We liked the compactness of the hotel - with little walking between room, restaurant and ski locker room. We liked the two ski access levels,
Our room was cosy and had a delightful view, plus it was one of the rare occaisions when we've had a balcony and been able to sit out and enjoy the late afternoon sun. Beds comfortable but pillows a little lumpy.
Proximity to the piste was pretty well perfect.
Breakfast and Dinner were very good. Staff generally friendly and efficient, we enjoyed our conversations with Jason, the Restaurant manager.
OK, so one morning Breakfast was chaotic when the breakfast chef did not show up, but we have a cartering background and know that these things happen from time to time. We didn't starve!
(Infact we've had to go on a bit of a diet after our return, we seem to have added a kilo or two during our stay!)
The menu was pretty amazing, great variety, and wonderful deserts - oh, and the Chicken Ceasar salad and the delicious burgers and the daily specialities
Maybe some effort needed to make the place look less tired - refixing the fabric curtain pelmets in the Restaurant would only take a few moments.
The leak in the restaurant ceiling made us laugh "Yes, we know, it happens sometimes"!
Friendly, welcoming and cosy is how I'd sum it up and would happily stay here again.
