We have enjoyed our lunch in Arabjuez. Staff was friendly. The meat was superb. It is not cheap, but you forgot about the price once you start eating.

Remarkable: main courses (cod fish, lamb, sirloin).
Starters can be improved: small, ordinary.
Desert: typical strawberries, fantastic!
Service slow, but nice.

A friend recommended the restaurant when we had some friends in town and we were not disappointed. The service was perfect, polite, friendly, knowledgeable.

The menu is not cheapest you’ll find on the ‘strip’ of restaurants in the town but it’s worth the extra.

We shared some platters of jamón, croquetas and and local seasonal asparagus over an appetitive drink.

For main course some of the group shared the ‘cook to your liking’ meat option which is visually lovely and the others choose sirloin or fillets. All dishes were served with sautéed potatoes & green or red peppers.

We were so stuffed we didn’t order dessert but the waiter insisted we share one bowl of their locally picked strawberries served with cream and a liqueur on the house with some biscuits.

The total bill incl the appetitive drinks, a glass of wine with dinner, a tea and 3 large bottles of water was €45,00 per person.

Tip: book very early in advance if you want to be guaranteed a patio or terrace table. We were inside which was fine and as we arrived at 13:45, we were on our own for the majority of the service.

Lots of Pork Specialties plus the traditional Spanish dishes like Huevos Rotos - the Jamón Serrano was to die for and fresh asparagus!!! Great service!

Chose this on the recommendation as listed on Tripadvisor and did not dissapoint. Close to the river across from the Palace very traditional restaurant. Although a varied menu fresh beautiful grilled meat being their speciality. We sat outside on the terrace as a party of 9 people served by friendly staff ensuring our server was able to speak good english and readily helped with our attempts at ordering in spanish.
