As a Lubbock local I often visit Rudy's and have never been disappointed. The food is good quality for the price and the service is always top notch. The dining area is very basic, but this actually makes it a great place to have a comfortable, casual lunch with a group of friends.

Passing through Lubbock and stopped for lunch. Drive through was wrapped around the building, which we took as a good sign. Nice aroma outside. Got a pound of wet and 1/2 pound of lean. Wet was better in my opinion. Fat is flavor! Roasted potatoes in butter were excellent. Other sides were good. Overall a great experience.
If you are looking for melt in your mouth meat here’s the place to go. This very clean place with real friendly people offers a wonderful pulled pork sandwich.
Get a good side of potato salad or new potatoes soaked in butter. Both were yum!
Good selection of drinks. No room for dessert but they looked great.
We generally love Rudy's, can't beat their moist brisket!
This location was pretty terrible. Ribs were just bad. Really bad. Undercooked and with a real funk. Brisket was ok, but not as nearly as good as usual. Service was awful. Slow, forgot literally every item and had to be reminded, gave us lean brisket instead of moist. Not unfriendly, but got everything wrong.
Rudy's is great, this one not so much.

Rudy's has terrific tasting BBQ. Its great to go pick it up for a quick easy meal at home. We will definitely revisit.
