After a half day fishing on the Margaree River we went to the dancing Goat Cafe & Bakery for lunch. Very tasty food, great coffee and a very pleasant atmosphere. Would recommend this place to anyone else

We had a spinach salad and half a chicken sandwich and it was so tasty an bough cookies to take home. My husband is not a fan of salads and loved it and cant wait to go back.

The weather was awful so I headed straight to the Dancing Goat before starting my day on the Cabot Trail. I grabbed a delicious veggie sandwich to go and a apple cinnamon scone. They had many other yummy treats on the menu and the breakfast plates looked amazing! My sandwich was perfect and the multigrain bread was incredibly good. Hope to make another trip before I leave.

We just love the Dancing Goat! After a long morning fishing on the Margaree, we come in to this magnificent cafe and are greeted by perfect breakfasts of eggs, bacon and toast! The coffee is hot and wonderful, and they make delicious fancy coffees like lattes and cappucinos as well. Their pastries are equally fabulous! We tried a cranberry-almond scone and it was light and beautifully made! And, they have sandwiches too! No matter where you are in Cape Breton, you should make your way to the Dancing Goat to have a wonderful breakfast or lunch!

We stopped in today for soup and a cappuccino and were very pleased with the service and the quantity of the portions served. The taste was so good we bought some homemade ginger cookies for Cabot Trail munchies! Thank you Dancing Goat team!
