Nice little museum. It had a B 17 and a B 25. F 4U and P 47. It will take about an hour to walk through and the planes are well maintained. They only give discount to active duty military. At times they give plane rides for a fee.
Great exhibits. My grandchildren 2 and 3 enjoyed seeing the planes. Interesting history. Doesn't take too long & wished for more! Very fun. Great gift store and helpful sales people. Loved the kites! And toy airplanes! And postcards.
We go here because my husband likes to look at the planes and other items from various eras, but even he said that it will be a long time before going back as we have seen it many times and this last time there were not as many things , or new items to look at. If you have not been before, then it is worth going if you are interested in history. But once will suffice for a long time.
The aircraft at this museum are lovingly restored and cared for by the volunteers and staff. The layout is simple and it makes touring these aircraft at your own pace easy and carefree. It's a fairly undiscovered gem in Galveston.
