I stayed there with my daughter on 9-12 and it was a very nice and different place. They call it a vacation rental, but it was a perfect cottage to stay for a couple of days to see Fredericksburg. It had a full kitchen with a large shower with a very comfortable king size bed. The cottage is off by itself on the owner’s property, which gives you a lot of privacy. The property is very pretty “southwest” type of landscape where you can see for miles. The cottage is only a few miles from downtown which makes it perfect to come and go as you please. The only down side to the rental is the fees that they attached to the rental price. One was a $16.00 damage waiver fee (or a $250 deposit on your credit card) and the other was a $20.00 processing fee of which they taxed both fees to the sum of $3.00. I will go back and visit the wineries around Fredericksburg, and I will again stay at the Celtic Cottage.
enjoyed the stay! clean, comfortable and had everything we expected and more...close enough to Fredericksburg, but still somewhat secluded...only draw back was the prevalence of ants in the kitchen area, but everything else was fantastic...great stay
