Description: Established in 1947, Cattlemen's Steakhouse is a must see when you visit the Fort Worth Stockyards! We keep things true to our roots, serving delicious steaks with minimal fuss. We are the only steakhouse in the Stockyards, that grills our steaks over charcoal, right in your dining room.

Very expensive but worth every bite. The steak had an excellent flavor and melted in your mouth. The service was excellent. It was over 100 degrees outside and we were gushilin the tea down. She kept our glasses constantly full. It was truly a "Texas" experience. Only complaint was the mushrooms, to me, had little flavor.

I visited Cattlemen’s during a solo business trip. This was my second visit ever and it didn’t disappoint! I had the house dressing on the salad which was excellent if you like blue cheese. The Filet Mignon and baked potato were perfection! The service is good and the prices are reasonable for what you get. Plus, you just can’t find many places cooking steaks over coals anymore.

Cattlemen's still has some of the best food in town. Whether your group prefers burgers, steak, chicken, seafood, salad, or even pasta, they have enough variety to satisfy just about anyone. Everyone enjoys their food, the service is good, and there is a children's menu for family outings. Only down side is the décor is sadly in need of refreshing. But if you're more concerned with the food, this is a good place to find what you want.

We especially enjoyed the onion rings and steaks. Best of both! Also recommend ordering rare or medium rare as much more tender

My husband and I were looking for a good steak and established restaurant in Ft Worth. And Cattlemen’s delivered!
The steaks was very flavorful and juicy. Cooked exactly to our specifications. The baked potato comes with condiments in a “family style” manner....so we could use as much or as little as we’d like. The ambiance of the restaurant was top notch as well. We’ll definitely visit again!
