My hubby and i went on vacation to a little town of 900 people, in the Texas Hill Country, called Bandera, Texas...affectionately known as the "Cowboy Capital of the World". We ate at quite a few BBQ restaurants around the area, in our quest to find the best bbq ribs. We stopped in at Sid's, right in the middle od downtown Bandera. DELISH! So good that we ate there 2 days in a row!! The ribs were pork ribs. Half-rack fed both of us AND we had 1 rib left over! Only thing that was a bit disappointing was their cole slaw. It wasn't really bad...but it wasn't good either. Pretty bland. The ribs tho!!! Oh my, so tender, juicy and very little fat on them, if any at all! I hate fatty ribs! If you LOVE bbq'd pork ribs, you gotta give Sid's BBQ a try, you will not be dissappointed! The young lady that worked there both days we ate there was a doll, very nice & polite.
