Wonderful stay, beautiful location, great accomidations! Will be returning next year for sure. Had a fantastic time, even when doing nothing at all. May have enjoyed that the most.
This place is very nice from the minute you walk in. Everything is clean and nicely decorated. Hot tub was clean and not much chlorine at all like some other places I have been to. Lots of firewood for all 3 days. Few things that I was not happy about but they are very small things. First the shower is really small so if you are a bigger person then you will not fit in there. But they have a tub in the house so you can use that. I only found one fire starter by the fireplace so other nights it was hard to start the fire. Check out at 10am and it's a little early for my taste as I like to sleep in on vacation. We came on January 16th and there was sill Christmas decorations all over, not a big deal but still. One more note, if it's your first time going there try to get there before dark. Road is very steep and hard to see at night. Overall I give 9.5 experience. Thank you. Will be back for sure.
The location is great and close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Beautiful cabin and would definitely stay again.
We had the pleasure of staying at this cozy cabin, Mountain Adventures. My husband and I wanted to "get away" for a small vacation, in a nice quiet location. We usually choose to stay around Townsend to avoid the commercialism on the other side of the park, and were pleased to find this cabin.
It is compact, but has everything you will need and want. Great amenities, hot tub, electronics, swing, and loved the fire table.
It is close to the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park where we spent most of our time. The local restaurants are good.
We really enjoyed our stay and will return.
The cabin itself was clean & cozy, exactly as pictured and described. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The only thing is that this cabin is perched - literally - on the side of a very steep mountain. There was adequate space for parking one vehicle, but not for turning around. The road was not graded well, and there were blind spots. We only live about about 45 minutes from this location, so we are used to driving in mountains, but this was frightening. We had planned to do some shopping and sight-seeing while in the area, but once we arrived, we decided we would not drive out until we were checked out. The incline was too steep to even safely walk. Fortunately, we packed well for the 3 days we were there so supplies were not a problem, but I would not choose this cabin again.
