What a beautiful place, it epitomizes Dolly's loving character. The rooms were clean and pretty, the grounds were extremely well kept. The only downfall was our pillows. Not one good pillow out of the eight in our room! All lumpy and uncomfortable. The food was too die for!! We had the breakfast buffet one morning and the dinner buffet Friday night. I would drive back just to eat that dinner buffet again, oh my goodness!

This was my second stay at this resort. My husband and I live in East Tennessee and have been vacationing in Pigeon Forge for over 20 years with our family. The DreamMore resort is a bit pricey for the area, but in many ways is worth the extra cost. If you plan to go to Dollywood or Splash Country, there are a lot of perks and peace of mind that come with your stay at the DreamMore. For starters, there are specials on the ticket pricing if you go 2 or 3 days to her parks. Also, even if you only buy a one day ticket at the Hotel Concierge as we did, you receive a complimentary Time Saver Pass at Dollywood. The Time Saver was amazing because it allows you to go to the head of the line for some of the park's most popular rides. Family members were able to ride the River Rampage 3 times on this trip! We often skip this ride because the lines are so long. Another perk was parking our car at DreamMore and riding the shuttle right to the entrance. The hotel itself is a relaxing place to unwind with our family prior to our day of walking around the park. The pool and hot tub were just wonderful and we were able to watch the fireworks at night from Dollywood from the back patio. Everyone who works here is friendly and helpful. The breakfast brunch is amazing if you have time for it. In fact, I have only one negative comment to make (just trying to be honest). Avoid booking a standard room (king plus bunks or 2 queen) unless you are a small family with children 12 or under. These rooms are somewhat small and cramped for families with teenagers. Also, you cannot put a roll away bed in them as was suggested online. Fortunately, we did not spend much time in the room. Overall, we did enjoy our stay here and had a wonderful family get together with my brother-in-law.

Room Tip: Avoid booking a standard room (king plus bunks or 2 queen) cramped and highway view.

We’ve been going to “The Mouse” resort for years, and recently stayed at The DreamMore Resort. We arrived at the resort and were pleasantly greeted by a genuinely friendly resort representative, not a “phony” introduction but a real down-home Tennessee type of a welcome! My wife and I were quite surprised at how beautiful the grounds were, how professional and friendly the resort team was, and how comfortable the rooms are! GREAT rates, great food, and a wonderful atmosphere for families or couples. We’re hooked and will be back, Finally, an alternative to “The Mouse!” Then there’s Dollywood itself...how often can I say WONDERFUL without losing how much I enjoyed our time there? It’s better than any other similar resort!!

Our experience at Dollywood was very good. From the bellmen at arrival (& departure), the servers at breakfast, both in the downstairs restaurant and the cafe on the 2nd floor - all were pleasant, helpful and epitomized east Tennessee hospitality. Our bellman as we departed after 3 night, Terry, was very cheerful & helpful. This property makes going to and from Dollywood and Splash Country a breeze. The "Dolly Trolley" runs every 15 minutes or less and drops you off at the entrance to both parks. No long walks from your car in the parking lot of either park. $15 to park, so subtract that from the cost of your reservation at Dollymore.
The food was well above average. The breakfast buffet was extensive. Fresh omelets and everything else you desire. The cafe on the 2nd floor has some terrific cinnamon buns and loaves of cinnamon bread. For later in the day, there are 8 flavors of ice cream.
If the weather looks a little threatening and you forgot ranger, the gift shop has Dollywood ponchos for $5/each. If you don't need to open the bag, they are very willing to allow a return.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the pool allow you to see the Dollywood fireworks at 9:30pm - from your room. Some of us were too tired to go out again!

We stayed over 4 nights. When we arrived the Bell unloaded our luggage and told us that it was complimentary, and duly gave us a ticket for the luggage while we parked the car. There was a short line at reception to check in and we handed our luggage ticket over. Checking was very easy and we were soon in our room on the top floor with the luggage arriving about 10 minutes afterwards. There is a guest laundry on the lobby floor which we made us of having been travelling for over a week. The main restaurant which is buffet style, is well laid out with most tables not having a view of the buffet area, making it feel more like a full service restaurant. The hotel is beautiful and the staff really pleasant and helpful.
