Having enjoyed the Dixie Stampede show several times, my wife, 16 yo daughter and myself were looking forward to seeing the new show. We'd also been to the Hatfield McCoy dinner show as well, excellent show and dinner. So, our expectations were high.....

Needless to say, we were quite disappointed. At the end of the show my wife leaned over and said "Is that it?"...I simple said "Yep".

Food was good, but so is Cracker Barrel. Fried chicken, ham, mac-n-cheese, creamy vegetable soup, sweet potato casserole, and peach turnover. It was good, but..

Now, the show. We saw the same show at a $15/each little circus that came through our home town a month ago. The acrobats, girls twirling on long ribbons, etc... even the rotating hamster wheel with a guy running around inside and outside of the wheel, the circus even had 2 guys on it at the same time. The show has absolutely nothing to do with a "Smoke Mountain Adventure"....semi entertaining, but not what we expected.

The price, at $55/each, plus tax, over $170 for the 3 of us ... Let's see, compared to the $15 circus and dinner at Cracker Barrel, it's double what it should be. My advice, go to the "Stampede" then "Hatfield McCoy" if you want a dinner show. Even the Comedy Barn is a better show, although dinner isn't served.

So, there it is, a poor attempt at doing the same show we've all seen before. Save your money...go elsewhere.

My family of four went to see the show last night at 6 pm. We entered a large staging area with ample seating and small places to shop and get specialty beverages. Once the doors to the show opened, we were guided to our seats and immediately greeted by our server, Andrea. She took our drink orders and kept them filled. The food was delicious and the show was entertaining. There was variety in the acts. It was “presented” as a love story, but it was much more exciting than that!

Took my husband , 16 and 5 year old and we had a great time. My daughter got a mountain princess makeover and we enjoyed the show. Food was good. Gave 4 stars because the waiter got irritated when my 5 year old passed on some of the food and he also asked us to clean up by gathering silverware in putting them in piles among other suggestions..

This show was recommend by friends who had seen "Dollys Stampede". They said it was supposed to be better than "Dolly's Stampede". These are dinner shows but we weren't sure what was inclusive. They took our picture upon arrival and told us to proceed to the Canteen for a drink and appetizers. The Canteen had signs with all they offered but nothing had a price on it. I guess we were naive because we ordered drinks, thinking it was included with the meal. That was a $20 mistake. The food was good but too much for me to finish and we weren't offered boxes. A lady in our party was offered a box for her dessert but it never arrived. The show was ok but not great. We won't go back.

What a great show!! Excellent food best ever with an amazing young waiter and staff. Very helpful. Even serving wine and beer or soft drinks while you wait. Very impressed but not surprised...it’s got Dolly’s name on it so it has to be perfection!!!
Nice job guys!!!! Very talented.

Thank Karl L
