Pier is wooden and central to the shops, good play area close by, and fabulous toilet facilities, it is nice and long to take a stroll down and get a good view around the bay. Nice board walk off it to walk along also.

We enjoyed our walk out to the end of the pier. We were fortunate to be there when the fishing boat arrived back at 12.30pm. The fishermen throw the fish guts overboard and the three resident stingrays are there to clean them up.
The playground was enjoyed immensely by our two 9 year olds.

The area has recently had a facelift with a great childrens playground, new toilet block, better parking and part of the pier fixed with additional lightning and safety barriers. It's fantastic to walk up and down to people watch. Keep an eye out for the 2 big sting rays that spend there time around there. A beautiful area that isn't as chaotic as other parts of the peninsula.

If your family loves the cleanest, clearest, shallow waters of a pristine beach with mesmerising blue-green waters, loves a children’s playground, loves a walk along a pier to observe Australia’s Mornington Peninsula marine life and possible viewing of Rosebud Pier’s family of sting rays, loves a pizza restaurant which is licensed for the parents!! What is left to love other than the most amazing family day any beach anywhere can offer. Needless to say Rosebud beach/pier is one of my favourites.

What an amazing and safe place for kids.
My niece and I bought some kebabs and chips and being new to the area thought we would walk to the pier and eat.
What a popular place, families, individuals, older, younger, all enjoying themselves.
There is a fantastic playground, perhaps not for the younger kids (but imagine saying no to them), some lawned area, lots of clean sand, tables and seats, lots of bins for your rubbish, a pier (perhaps 500 m long), lots of close by parking, a huge assortment of food to be bought very close by.
The shore end of the pier is part of a rather good looking running, cycling walking path that looked like it extended a long way in both directions.
I was totally amazed that we could "stumble" upon such an utterly delightful place. We are only here for 3 days but shall return, maybe for dinner tmrw evening.
