Visited twice in two days. Highly recommend the egg and bacon foccacia for breakfast and the All press coffee was great.

Soggy and bland mushroom and beef pie, followed up by a poorly executed soggy and dripping flavourless spinach and feta pastie. Walked 18 kilometres over Bogong to get here and would have rather had a tin of Tuna and a burnt piece of toast. Coffee was 2/5
We stopped on a day out in the area and we bought some pies and sausage rolls from the bakery and they were amazing, the food is fresh and tasty, a nice surprise. Oh and the ladies make a great coffee here too, I would highly recommend this place
Not sure what to say about this cafe/bakery. Maybe we misunderstand the way it’s now run. To all intense & purposes it looks like a cafe restaurant, but each time we’ve patronised this business during past year or 2 (as tourists), the level of customer service is gradually deteriorating. Eg. NO table service of any kind anymore, when you order you have to either take your food with you, or wait for the loud ‘yell’ from behind the counter advising that it’s ready. I could go on, but in fairness I won’t.
However on a positive note, it was almost the ONLY Mt Beauty cafe open the ‘Friday’ afternoon we arrived. Surprising as it seemed there were many tourists visiting the area.
It’s a bakery people. Why all the negative talk? They open at the crack of dawn (big tick if you’re going up the mountain), have nice pre made rolls and range of cakes, good coffee, newspapers. All good here!
