Firstly I am slightly confused over the ratio of toilets and showers to campers when the park is full. Spend some money and address this issue. Saying that if the park was half full or less you probably wouldn't notice this. When the weather is hot enough to hit the Nariel the kids are kept busy but if they had to use the play ground you wouldn't want too many using the equipment because there isn't much of it. How much would it take to add some more equipment? The room is there! No more negatives....Start your morning with a walk on the bike track towards town and back or do a few laps of the caravan park with your dog. That's right! You can bring the family pet. Then sit back with a cuppa and have some brecky and the shade of the big trees that surround and engulf the park. It's then a 6km drive into Corryong for a bit of shopping or pick up supplies. Or take a drive to the Cudgewa Falls (Bluff Falls). This park oozes relaxation. Make sure you attach a water filter to your van or camper to filter the creek water. If you ar going to take the family pet try to make sure it doesn't bark too much...the park owners will be on to you before you can say "stop barking". Even though my first 2 comments are in the negative aspect we will definitely be back. It's just soooooooo relaxing!

Room Tip: We had sites 19 through 24 and the morning shade was great. A bit of sun from 11 till 4 though.

We had a very pleasant couple of nights' stay at this conveniently located, clean and picturesque camping and caravan park. We visited outside of peak time (mid December) and had plenty of choice of where to set up camp. The owners have worked hard to create a good experience, burying power lines which were previously hanging between the trees and creating concrete drains around taps to avoid mud seen all too frequently in caravan parks.

We had a powered site under the trees with lush good quality grass. The park has a lovely creek running along the back of it, perfect for kids to play in and apparently home to a Duck Billed Platypus (though we didn't spot it!). The camp kitchen is clean with plenty of hot water and a shared fridge, the laundry facilities also kept clean, as too the bathrooms with consistently hot water and music playing!

The owners are delightful and treat you like friends as soon as you meet - they helped repair a damaged drawer in our camper trailer and invited us to join their friends and neighbours for Christmas drinks and a BBQ one evening - truly above and beyond the average caravan park. Highly recommended!

Just stayed 2 nights while visiting Corryong for the Machinery Show. Last minute booking when the accommodation we had booked fell through. Thank goodness for small mercies sometimes. Were sent out to Colac Colac by the Corryong Visitors Centre as our son wanted to throw a fishing line in a creek/river. Our ensuite cabin was cosy but comfortable with all the necessaries supplied. Because they are the smaller size, you don't have a couch - just table & chairs & outdoor setting.
The park itself is spacious with well established shady trees and open grassed areas. The creek is great for fishing or just walking along and listening to the bubbling water. Birdlife is prolific and actively encouraged by the owners daily parrot feeding session. Nice open camp kitchen/BBQ area and kids playground as well of heaps of space for kicking a ball or riding bikes.

What an absolute gem of a Caravan Park, its a real hidden treasure, beautiful grounds where birds break the silence, pet friendly and the husband and wife management team are a credit to the overall experience. I was on business in the area and towed my 5 metre van instead of using motels, just for a change. Its the second time I've been here, the last time I watched and chatted to a lady who just happened to reel in a trout from the pretty stream which runs through the park. Toilet and laundry shower facilities were certainly adequate, just a gorgeous place to have that red or white whilst cooking up the BBQ and soak up the total atmosphere, would thoroughly recommend this unique environment to anyone, they also have cabins but I've not stayed in them...

Room Tip: I chose a site in the far eastern corner, close to a swish looking isolated and well appointed cabin [with its own outlook on the creek] just because it was isolated and quite...

We stayed at the Colac caravan park overnight as a part of a road trip. The hosts really do care about their caravan park. The cabin was clean and well equipped with little extras like mats beside each of the beds. We were running late and rang to let the owners know and were told we could come as late as we needed, just to be careful driving in the fog.
The only downside was that the bathroom was small but still very adequate. It is also on a main highway but we only heard the traffic in the morning when we were outside. If passing through we would definately stay there again.
