Good quality bedding and very comfortable little cottage! Very handy for The Royal Welsh Show. Breathtaking views! One downer, the sheep in the field very nearby, were weaned on the Tuesday- Baaaaa non stop! Bless them. It has to be done!! Relaxing after a long 4 days at the Show.
Fabulous little cottage in the most peaceful part of the country. Park the car for the week and walk, bus or train to explore the area. Alternatively, simply sit in the garden and enjoy the peace and quiet whilst getting a tan. Maggie was very helpful in getting further information, like when the pub opens and where the hairdryer is. Would definitely recommend this spotlessly clean getaway-from-it-all place.
Beautiful cottage in a quiet area, everything was clean, everything worked. Beds were comfortable, bathroom and kitchen well-equipped. It's a bit out of the way, but only a few minutes in a car from a couple of small towns. Maggie couldn't do enough for us and nothing was too much. We arrived late on the back of a tow truck which meant we were too late to go for food, but this was remedied by Maggie raiding her freezer for us!. We were in the area for "The Real Ale Wobble" and were able make use of the shed to store our bicycles. The weather was miserable on the day and we were only there for a couple of days. I would definitely go back, especially in the summer as the garden and unobstructed views of the night sky were something to behold. I would definitely recommend this place for a couple or small family looking for a base for walks and cycle rides that is also close enough for day trips in the car. Or if you want to get away to write or contemplate and just listen to the sounds of nature.
