A charming family friendly cottage with discreet personnal service from on-site owners who care. Coast and Snowdonia within easy reach and some lovely walks close at hand. Alternatively, get in supplies and enjoy the seclusion and surrounding contryside.

“Fabulous - a real hidden gem”
Reviewed 15 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

This is a great cottage. I only booked it as it was well priced and close to the start of a mountain bike race I was doing. But it proved to be wonderful- a charming conversion with all mod cons - down duvet and pillows, exposed beams, dishwasher, DVD player and collection of films, powerful hot shower etc. Perhaps only needed a washing machine to be perfect!

We stayed here for a week and had a fabulous time. The cottage is very nice, set in a quiet part of the countryside. The view is great and we highly recommend it to those who are looking for a escape from the city :-)

“Rustic charm”
Reviewed 17 March 2014 for a stay in March 2014

We booked this as a last minute getaway. Booked and paid Friday afternoon and arrived the same evening.

It's a great little place, far off the beaten track but fab as a base for exploring north wales it's ideal.

The house is set deep in the countryside offering opportunities for walking and exploring.

The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well equipped with everything you needed for cooking.

The bathroom is basic with a pumped sewerage system. The shower was a little temperamental but after leaving it run for 5 mins it settled at a constant heat, I learnt this after I scalded myself on the boiling water. I'm glad I didn't allow my son to shower first. Wasn't a major issue but I'm mentioning it as advise for future visitors.

All in all it was a nice place with chickens and cats wandering free making it seem very homely.

The shower, despite being less than a year old and still under warranty, turned out to be faulty and has now been replaced.
