We arrived late to the the cottage, but Pippa had left the keys in the door for us so got in no trouble. Driving directions were very helpful and we didn't have any problems finding the cottage. We arrived to a freshly baked banana bread and milk - a lovely touch. There was a very helpful guide to local walks etc along with all the info on the cottage.
The cottage itself was beautifully refurbished; modern amenities but with a cozy cottage feel. Had everything we needed plus more (tv, dvd, coffee machine and even a washing machine). The whole place was very clean with plenty of towels and also some tea bags etc for when we arrived. It was very spacious with a large open plan kitchen and living room, plus a step down to the bedroom and bathroom. It was quiet and felt very private.
The location was great; only a short drive to St David, but also very central for exploring wider along the coast and around the national park.
One night we were there it rained very heavily, which unfortunately flooded the bathroom slightly. Pippa was very swift to help with loads of towels and we couldn't fault anything with how they managed the situation. Hopefully this wasn't too costly to fix!
Overall a really lovely and relaxing break, and would recommend this as a great place to stay :)
We stayed in the lovely little cottage which was very clean and had all we needed included a full kitchen, TV. internet, DVD. The location is very good - just a 5 minute drive to St David and Whitesands beach but feels quite peaceful and rural. The garden is very good too and perfect if you have dogs. Overall this is very nice place to stay and good value
What a lovely cottage could not fault it the beauty about this cottage was it had the cozy home feel to it with all the mod cons dishwasher log burner coffee maker etc. we also enjoyed the garden as you could sit outside with a glass of wine and watch the sun go down this was quite tranquil , will definitely be going back again as their is so many nice places to visit ie secluded beaches ,small villages Nice coastal path walks . I must also mention Pippa and Steve where most helpful nothing was to much trouble , we also took our small westy dog and found this to be perfect for her , looking forward to going back soon .

Pippa + Steve were the perfect easy going hosts and we felt as relaxed and comfortable as we would in our own home.
The cottage was clean, cosy, well equiped and catered for all our needs.
The view across the nature reserve and nothing but the sound of nature made for an lovely stay.

We stayed for 2 nights in this perfect cottage. Located just 1 mile from the city of St David's and close to white sands beach and the beautiful coastal path, this cottage was everything we expected and more. We were met by Pippa and Steve the owners of the cottage who warmly welcomed us on arrival and showed us around the cottage and it's facilities. We were immediately impressed by the cleanliness, layout, furniture, kitchen and especially the log burner (with plenty of logs supplied). The bedroom was extremely comfortable with a good size ensuite and powerful shower. We were lucky with the weather and the sun shone on both days which enabled us to explore the area and walk along the coastal path. The cathedral at St David's was spectacular and we noticed lots of international visitors in and around the city which is a good sign during March, being so early in the tourist season.
We really enjoyed our stay at Bwthyn Dowrog cottage and would definitely recommend it to others. Many thanks to you both Pippa and Steve - we will be back! Dave and Giles.
