Our second stay here as a family of 13 aged between 4 and 63. 3 generations . Had a wonderful stay. Such a lovely spot, quiet and central. Good food shopping choices 5 mins drive away. Good takeaways and restaurants nearby. Great beaches within half an hour in any direction.
Best bit is the fantastic large garden, walled and fenced so safe for grandchildren of all ages. It's spacious and well equipped with swings, slide, climbing frame, summer house and loads of play stuff. A great space to chill out.
We managed to eat outside most of the week too!
Houses are well equipped and much like a home from home, with 2 full kitchens, 2 washer dryers, 2 fridge freezers and two dishwashers. Loads of comfy chairs and sofas, plenty of chairs and big tables to eat at.
3 generous bathrooms. (Although shower entry too tight for the larger gentleman, which was awkward).
Aside from that, the perfect place for a large family group.
Great space to share with a large group. Ample crockery, utensils etc. Perfectly situated for exploring the surrounding area, on the A55 within minutes allowing easy access to local amenities. Owners happy to recommend local beaches/ attractions if you need any advice. Beautiful walled garden and summer house, shame about the weather.
What an amazing week we all had at Bryn Hyfyd Cottages for my partner's 60th birthday. Both cottages were fully equipped with everything 11 adults & 5 children need. The children loved the walled garden with it's play area & fabulous summer house. Nothing was too much for Harish & Sian the owners from helping hide our family members car's on arrival so the surprise was even greater for him, to filling our paddling pool for the children to recommending Tavern on the Bay for Colin's birthday meal. Memories were made here that will last a lifetime. Xx
