We are staying in Beaumaris for a week and have been enjoying the local area. Last night we were looking for a takeaway that the children and grandparents would all be happy with, and settled on Bold.
We walked round the corner to place the order, which was very easy to do. They are dog friendly which was helpful as we were able to walk the dog at the same time!
The order was going to take about 30 mins so we went out to finish walking the dog and then returned back to collect.
The food was packed up very well in cardboard containers, and had paper bags to carry it home. Each container was labelled with the contents which made dishing out at home much easier.
We ordered a sharing platter, chicken gyros wrap, southern fried chicken wrap (be aware that this comes with mayo- we didn’t know this and had to do a food swap at home!), hoisin loaded fries, chilli loaded fries, a smash burger and a kids hot dog.
The kids hot dog was a full size one but without anything added to it, which was perfect for our ten year old. The smash burger was apparently very good and I can vouch for the chilli fries being excellent.
The food was piping hot and there was plenty of it, as well as being very tasty.
We thought it was very good value and we would definitely visit again, either for a takeaway or to eat in.

Had a lovely meal Saturday evening,will definitely be eating there next time we visit Beaumaris .very reasonable price .

The Bold Arms is a great dog friendly pub with excellent food and drinks. There are rooms above that are very comfortable. Everyone at the Bold are friendly. We choose to stay here every time we visit Anglesey.

A little apprehensive going into Beaumaris in N-Wales during a family weekend on Anglesey to watch England v Switzerland in the Euro 2024 quarter finals… we plumped for the Bold Arms and were not disappointed.

Made to feel really welcome and overall a great little boozer with a local yet friendly vibe.

We have just come back from a week away in Beaumaris with all the family and we visited the bold arms a few times during our stay. We ordered takeout food one night for 10 of us and everything was perfect still nice and hot when we got it home and everyone really enjoyed it especially the burgers. We also went in on our last day and had a great time having drinks and playing pool shout out to AL my pool buddy. All the staff and locals were really friendly so If your visiting Beaumaris and looking for some fantastic food and a great family night out I highly recommend the bold arms.
